Winter Park Blue Runs
Chasing the corduroy on ‘White Rabbit’

What’s Going On In Winter Park: December 12th – 19th, 2017

Four inches of new snow in recent days has given a nice boost to Winter Park’s early season snow pack; and with colder temperatures on the way, the snow-making team at Winter Park Resort have guns-a-blazin’ to give Mother Nature a helping hand.

The Zephyr Express lift is now open, providing access to the Olympia Lift and ‘Alice’ ski runs, as in “Alice in Wonderland.” Explore Alice’s fast and fun groomers like Jabberwocky, Dormouse, March Hare and White Rabbit, and you will have wonder and “Weeee!” as you ski.

Speaking of White Rabbit, both the upper section (Blue or Intermediate) and the lower section (Green or Easiest) are open.   White Rabbit is a wide open cruiser, that runs under the Olympia Lift.   Work on your style points, shake out some of those early-season cobwebs, and get those legs ready for bigger and steeper lines later in the season.
