2021 Winter Park Summer Calendar

Summer 2021 is here! We are so thrilled to announce this tentative calendar of events for the 2021 summer season in Winter Park, CO. Below, find the schedule for the season, in addition to some great info & resources!

Stay tuned for any and all updates, as we are working on our 2021 summer schedule to add new events & follow all Covid-19 protocols. *Due to weather restrictions & Covid-19 all events are subject to change.

2021 Schedule of Events

 

June 17th-19th
Grand Gear Grind | G3 Race 

The Grand Gear Grind (G3 Race) is a mountain bike stage race covering the best single-track that Grand County Colorado has to offer. Expect 90 miles of pristine and challenging trails in Winter Park and Granby. You will be tested, you will be tired, you will be wondering why you signed up, you will cry, but mostly you will smile.

 

July 1st-4th
4th of July Celebration

Events Include:

  • High-Note Thursday | Thursday, July 1st | 6pm-8pm
    High-Note Thursdays is a free summer concert series at the Rendezvous Event Center. The community can enjoy a mix of musical styles performed on our state-of-the-art stage. Learn more.
  • Winter Park Art Walk | Friday, July 2nd
    The inaugural Winter Park Art Trail opens Friday, July 2nd. Enjoy the scenic Fraser River Trail and the incredible art dotting the route from the Winter Park Resort to Headwaters Center.  Learn more.
  • Run for Independence | Sunday, July 4th | 8:30am
    A 5-mile race along the Fraser River Trail and around Winter Park ending up at the Rendezvous Event Center. Grab your shoes, and go! Learn more.
  • Fitness in the Park Sunday | Sunday, July 4th | 9am
    Bring your own mat and get your yoga on! Join other yogis on the lawn at the Rendezvous Event Center to stretch and breath in the fresh mountain air. Learn more and sign the Liability Form.
  • Red, White, & Buckstein: A 4th of July Concert | Sunday, July 4th | 7pm-10pm
    Celebrate the 4th with a rousing, free concert in Rendezvous Event Center featuring Colorado native, Buckstein. He’s a bass-baritone powerhouse that will melt, mold, and move you the way only a man of country music can! Pack the kids, pack a picnic, and pick your spot to enjoy the evening!

 

July 1st-August 26th
High-Note Thursday

High-Note Thursdays is a free summer concert series on Thursdays in the Rendezvous Event Center. The community can enjoy a mix of musical styles performed on our state-of-the-art stage. Bring your picnic, favorite beverages, and a smile, we provide the chairs and live music!

July 2nd – Early Fall
Winter Park Art Trail

Winter Park Art Trail is a free art trail dotting the scenic Fraser River Trail, starting at Winter Park Resort and continuing to the Headwaters Center. Walkers, runners, and bikers can enjoy this artistic display from July 2nd through early Fall. This Art Trail is for all visitors, vacationers, and locals to enjoy while visiting Grand County. Participants can interact & vote for their favorite pieces via online and QR code along the trail.

 

July 4th-August 29th (Every Sunday 9am-10am)
Fitness in the Park

Fitness in the Park is a free yoga/pilates class at Rendezvous Event Center. You can enjoy the quiet of the Park and the gorgeous setting with a trained fitness instructor leading you through yoga or pilates. Classes are designed to accommodate a wide range of experience levels and abilities to ensure everyone is welcome. It’s a great way to start the day! You’ll need to bring your own mat, water, and practice responsible social distancing onsite.

 

July 4th
Rendezvous Run for Independence

The 5 mile run/walk starts at the Vintage Hotel, near Winter Park Resort and competitors will wind their way down the beautiful Fraser River Trail, through green forests and open valleys, through the Town of Winter Park, and new this year, finishing at the Rendezvous Event Center.

 

July 5th-14th
USA Cycling  |  Mt Bike National Championship 

Come check out or compete in the Mountain Bike Nation Championship being held in Winter Park! Variety of age groups and mens & women’s events offered. More information can be found on their website, here.

 

July 10th-11th
Alpine ArtAffair 

The Alpine ArtAffair is a friendly outdoor not-for-profit juried show, staffed by volunteers who strive to provide an enjoyable can i order accutane online experience for artists and visitors alike.  Proceeds from applications and booth fees provide scholarships-funding to local students, schools and arts in the community. A great way to give back!

 

July 17-18
Winter Park Jazz Festival 

Jazz is coming back to Winter Park. Tickets for the 38th annual Winter Park Jazz Festival are on sale now!

July 23rd
Full Buck Moon 5K Run 

Celebrate the full moon with an evening 5k run in and around Winter Park. This inaugural event will kick off a series of events that celebrate all things celestial. Grab your headlamp, glow in the dark socks, and get ready to run under the full moon.

 

July 23rd-24th
Bike Winter Park Weekend with Roll Massif 

Bike Winter Park Weekend is a “choose-your-own-adventure” for the biking enthusiast. Roll Massif is hosting two signature events in beautiful Winter Park: Sunrise to Sunset and Crooked Gravel. All you need to do is choose between gravel and mountain, solo and team, and all day or 97- and 68-mile rides. All ages, all experience levels are welcome — how hard and fast you go is all up to you!

 

July 31st
Winter Park Uncorked 

Wine, wine, and more wine! Join us for everyone’s favorite wine event, Winter Park Uncorked on Saturday, July 31st. Laze away the afternoon enjoying delicious food vendors, an electric string quartet, and numerous wineries at Rendezvous Event Center. We promise it will be an afternoon well spent!

 

August 6th
5Point Adventure Film Festival

The power of film is magnified when a group experiences meaningful stories together. We laugh, we cry, we cheer, we learn and we explore the world together – and that’s the power of a 5Point show. 5Point delivers a unique film viewing experience by combining passionate athletes, artists, filmmakers, short documentary films, and local communities.

 

August 6th-8th
Fraser Mountain Mural Festival

The 2021 Fraser Mountain Mural Festival is presented by the Town of Fraser and the Fraser Public Arts Committee (Fraser PAC). August  6th-8th artists will compete for awards and recognition, by producing their best work on 8ft x 8ft primed panels. The Fraser Mountain Mural Festival is a platform for local, front range and national artists to compete for cash prizes as well as generating creative energy and raising awareness for The Fraser Center for Creative Arts. This year’s theme is, “celebrate the resiliency of the human spirit.”

 

August 7th
Winter Park Beer Festival 

From their website: “We’re excited to announce that the 2021 Winter Park Beer Festival IS HAPPENING! Saturday August 7th, we’re still finalizing the details so keep an eye out here or on our website. We’re excited to see you all again!”

 

August 14th
Blues from the Top 

For 18 years the Grand County Blues Society (GCBS) has been following a mission that was created in the very first meetings. The Mission – To promote the American musical art form known as “The Blues” by hosting live performances by Blues musicians and providing events to educate the public about the history of Blues music. You can expect the same great blues music, the same stunning location in downtown Winter Park, and the same smiling faces of the folks from the GCBS. All of this jam-packed into one extraordinary full day of amazing music on Saturday, August 14th, 2021. Plus great night shows all weekend long.

 

September 4th
SolShine Concert

SolShine Concert will be held at the Rendezvous Event Center, Downtown Winter Park. The schedule is: Gates open | 3:00pm – Opener 1 | 4:30-5:30pm – Opener 2 | 6:00-7:00pm – Headliner | 7:30-10pm – More info coming soon!

 

September 11th
Winter Park Fall Fest

2021 Winter Park FallFest has been tentatively rescheduled for September 11th. Event organizers are working on the 2021 summer events schedule. Stay tuned for updates.
