By Dave, Posted: 12/16/2020Unit was ideal, service was exceptional. Wish I was still there!
MANAGER COMMENTS: So many thanks again Dave for all your years of support. We love hosting you and hope to get to do it again soon....enjoy your holidays!
By Bev, Posted: 10/07/2020We were very pleased with the house we rented. We were a party of 6 but easily could have fit 8 comfortably, with room to spare. The house had everything we needed...fully stocked kitchen items, plenty of towels, and the bikes & ping pong table were an unexpected extra. The management company responded immediately to any questions we had. Highly recommended.
MANAGER COMMENTS: So many thanks Bev! We are all thrilled that the Base Camp property fit your group well. We would love to host you any time you head back to the mountains.
By Rachael, Posted: 08/09/2019The house is gorgeous and I love the attention to detail. This is one of the first houses I’ve stayed that had so many towels, spices, shampoo/conditioner/soap, Paper towels and laundry detergent... etc. All these little details make this house a definite win not to mention the beautiful design of each room. We really enjoyed all the space and wonderful access to the hot tub and bikes. My only suggestion is being there in August the master suite got very warm in the mornings, but the house had wonderful rotating fans that helped. We will definitely stay again!
Manager Comment: Thanks for your kind words. We feel you shouldn't have to bring your whole house with you when you travel, so we provide those little touches. We will make sure there is a box fan in the master to help move the air for your next stay.
By Brekke, Posted: 02/26/20195 Stars - Wonderful. Our group of seven adults were thankful for the boot driers, games and humidifiers. Loved using the private hot tub and cooking in the well stocked kitchen. Beautiful and spacious rental.
MANAGER COMMENTS: Thanks Brekke. We appreciate you coming back to stay with us and hope we'll host you again when you're back this way.
By Hillary, Posted: 01/28/2019Hands down, the BEST rental company we’ve EVER used! 5 STARS!! ?????????? Every time I called all of the staff I spoke to was incredibly polite, professional & helpful. They seemed to REALLY want to help me with our vacation plans. Base Camp 462 was absolutely phenomenal. The owners thought of everything, from heated bathroom floors, to boot dryers, gourmet kitchen, hot tub, great TVs, 2 sets of washers/dyers, sound system throughout, heated driveway~ you name it & it was there & it was TOP NOTCH! The linens & decor were extremely tasteful and of high quality, as well as all of the appliances, kitchen utensils & electronics. The views from this house were gorgeous!!! We had plenty of room with 2 families for a total of 9 people. We never felt crowded or cramped. The starter toiletries were Aveda brand. The Winter Park Lodging Company had a personal handwritten letter to us on the kitchen counter along with other sweet welcoming surprises including a BIG bag of high quality trail mix & nuts. Instructions for everything in the home were clearly marked & explained. The hospitality app that WPLC offers was incredibly helpful & informative. We will ABSOLUTELY use WPLC again & highly recommend them to everyone!
MANAGER COMMENTS: Awesome! Thank you SO MUCH Hillary. We are so pleased your families were able to join us and have such a nice stay. Those Base Camp properties are so great. Do let us know when your travels bring you back this way. We'd love to host you all again.
By Larry, Posted: 08/20/2018Really nice spot in the woods and great bedding layout for a bunch of singles to stay. We had a great time and would love to come back when it's ski season to be right close to the trail system! Thank you to all the folks at the company for checking in on us.
MANAGER COMMENTS: We are all so pleaded you enjoyed staying over at the Base Camps with us. Let us know when you come back this way.
By Chuck, Posted: 02/17/2018The kitchen is to die for! That and the dining table made for the perfect way to feed our hungry group of skiiers. All the rooms were spacious and totally functional for each little family unit in our party. Parking was a little odd, but we were able to work out a system with our 3rd car. We should have read in the app more closely that there are only 2 spots! All in all a great vacation.
MANAGER COMMENTS: It's a terrific property. We are so pleased you enjoyed it. Sorry about the parking. It's a bit tighter now up there with a new building going up. Do always call us if we can help out with logistics of things.
By Derak, Posted: 07/19/2017This is one of the most beautiful sites I'd seen in Winter Park and the third best place I'd had also. They all belong to Winter Park Lodging Company and the staff is A #1. That's why we try to do about 3 to 8 places each year. Next we'll try for 12 places. Stay tuned and God Bless! Love you - from Big Dog Elitist and Production
MANAGER'S COMMENTS...We can't be happier being your 1,2 and 3! See you again next year.
By Rod, Posted: 02/28/2017How can you beat it? Great accommodations and your service is second to none. I will say that the one real tough issue is parking. We had heard repeatedly form your staff that there was " free overflow parking" right off of Iron Horse way. 8 of us scoured every inch of that space looking for such an area. Every spot we saw was explicit in that it was only to be parked in with a permit or you were to be towed at owners expense. We simply never found it and so there was some misunderstanding on that piece, otherwise thank you very much for another great time. Thank you
MANAGER'S COMMENTS...Sorry to hear you weren't able to find the overflow parking area. We will get that better stated in the app, so you can find it on your next visit. We'll see you next year!
By Wade, Posted: 02/07/2017For such a big house, 2 parking spaces was inconvenient and the TVs were very small and out of date. The cable was connected via the old red/yellow/white audio/video cables. This wouldn't have been much of an issue, but we brought a nintendo 64 which requires the same adapter ports, so we had to unplug and replug everything in when we wanted to switch between cable TV and game play. This didn't ruin the trip or anything near that, but it would be relatively cheap to improve the TV/cable set up (get a bigger TV, hook everything up with HDMI cables). I was still very happy with everything else, so my comments are meant as constructive criticism not a complaint. Thanks
MANAGER'S COMMENTS...We can't do much about the parking, but we agree 100% with you about bringing the Tvs into the 21st century. We will suggest upgrades to the owner. Thanks for the feedback.
By Rebecca, Posted: 04/05/2016This house is gorgeous and spacious! The ski in and out and views were great! Nice amenities as well.
By Sara, Posted: 02/29/2016Could not have asked for a better vacation. Very attentive staff, excellent home, great ammeneties. We will be returning for sure
By Sallie, Posted: 02/22/2016This house was very roomy, had a fully stocked kitchen (more than my own home), toys for kids, games, extra linens, etc. the only thing I would change is the pillows and directions on best way to get to mountain such as bus routes and times or trail to slopes. Manager Comments: Thanks so much for that Sallie. We aim to make it as simple as possible for you to find your way everywhere. We will work on the best way to advertise that information. We will get those pillows switched out. Thank you! Hope to see you up here again.
By Andrea, Posted: 02/03/2016We enjoyed our stay at Base Camp 462. The condo is updated, very well organized for large families, and allowing pets was a nice bonus. You walk to the slopes and that's especially nice for coming home. You can also take a shuttle to WP. The kitchen is stocked (think more than your own) with spices, cookware, and lots of dishes. There are plenty of bathrooms for the number of guests that can sleep there. Hot tub is on the porch so easily accessible although only fits 3-4 adults. We tried the restaurant in the complex (La Collina) and the service was good, nice selection of food, and easy to get to if you don't want to venture downtown. We appreciated the service of the staff answering our questions too. Would highly recommend this place.
By Jeff, Posted: 10/28/2015Absolutely great place and a great location. And the folks at Winter Park Lodging Company went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.

Q: Can we access the mountain from this town home?A: There is ski In/ski out access just 150 yards from your back door to the Corridor ski trail.
Q: Does this town home come with a Pack 'n' Play?A: Yes, this town home has a Pack 'n' Play already in the property for your convenience with the little ones.
Q: Where can we park additional vehicles if there are more than 2?A: Additional vehicles may park overnight at The Village parking garage for $28/day ($15/half day) in the covered parking on levels 1 & 2.
