Base Village Loft 104

Very accessible to slopes. With three kids this was the way to stay! Plenty of room and plenty of space! Very clean and beds super comfortable.

Everything about this was fabulous. The condo was perfectly appointed with everything we needed. The proximity to the gondola and ability to ski off the slope and walk across the street was great. The garage storage was extremely useful. Parking was easy. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend!

Condo was great. Walkable to restaurants. Only negative is there is no elevator and you have to drag your suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. Only because we didn’t have car. And we would have liked to be able to store our luggage in garage before check in and after to get as much skiing in as possible. Other than that everything was great!

We had a terrific stay here. 3 generations of family all had enough room and easy access to the shops and restaurants below. Great secure bike storage in the garage. Car can be left/parked elsewhere in the summer months. Our hosts were very organized and checked in to be sure all was well with us. Would surely recommend as a place to enjoy Winter Park Resort!

This was a great condo! Great space, loved that the bedrooms were separate from the living space. The beds were extremely comfortable. Loved that we could walk to all outdoor summer activities and the restaurants. The only down side was it was pretty noisy at night, so we couldn’t sleep with the windows open so it got a little warm (also didn’t realize there were fans in the closets until we were checking out). We would definitely stay here again though!

It was great to have space on the main floor for all to enjoy and then upstairs where folks could get away. Amazing to have a private garage for vehicle and ski storage. Location is perfect right above the village and easy walk to the gondola. Even a private grill to enjoy. Rooms aren't very big but the convenience factor is huge as a trade off! Even had access to hot tubs at the Zephyr....all in all a terrific way to enjoy Winter Park!

Our family has a terrific time at the Loft! Perfect location to enjoy all the activities of the resort and be able to walk back and forth for naps and baby things. It is a very nicely appointed condo and we had all we needed and more. Plus, the management company was outstanding! We had so much help in getting activities planned in the area and it was a hugely successful trip due to them! We'll be back!

We stayed at 104 just before spring break hit for a few day family ski trip with seven of us. It had been a number of years since I had stayed at Winter Park, but we definitely had a great time. We were very pleased with the 104 property and found the quality to be great. The booking, check-in, and check-out process were all flawless. The fact that doors use codes make it all that much more smooth. Really great when everything just works! While, slopeside would be more technically ski in/ski out, I feel the environment was better and loved cruising through the village. Would definitely stay again, here are the highlights: PROS: -- the garage was great, so handy to have reserved parking all of the time and it was great to store gear. -- the appliances were all top notch and in great working order. -- found the full window in the master shower hilarious, though the main level shower also had a smaller window in the shower. Interesting design, but found it fun. -- beds were of very high quality with great linens, and didn't quite need a ladder to climb up to one -- internet worked great and nice having full cable TV -- location was great, just awesome being in the middle of everything -- floors and entire interior in great shape, felt right at home -- other reviews noted noise from folks coming up and down the outside stairs, but none of us really noticed. We were just happy to be already at our condo, while others were still walking! :-) CONS: -- the stairs. not so much in the unit, but getting up and down to the village main level are three flights of stairs that are a sense of annoyance. Found that it made sense to carry down my, and the rest of the family's, gear down to the main level, then put on my ski boots and head to the lift. If there was just some way to store all the gear on the main level, would be a home run -- minor thing, but wish it had a Keurig coffee maker I stayed in the Vintage Hotel a few years ago, and at that time, it was still possible to hike up to the Corridor run so you can ski down to the Gondola, but now, the cliff there is quite life threatening. Just seems that it would be quite easy to make the entire area a bit more ski in/ski out. This is more a Winter Park issue than the unit or the rental company. I would definitely recommend this unit to all!

Very clean and nice condo. The entire condo was decorate nice, no worn or out dated furniture. The beds were extremely comfortable allowing for a great nights sleep. We really enjoyed our stay at base loft 104. The space was just right, and having two floors makes it feel much more spacious than just a 3BR all on one floor. The garage made it easy to unload, bring in groceries, etc. The kitchen could use some new non-stick pots and pans, as they have been used heavily, but the WP Lodging staff promptly brought us a new blender when we notified them it was broken upon arrival. Great communication with the team. All in all, we loved our stay here.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed staying on property at Winter Park! We were there to ride Trestle Bike Park, which was a great experience. The garage space was perfect to store our bikes and gear. We could easily make meals in the nice-sized kitchen and dining area. Balcony over the dining and shopping area was a fun experience. The condo was well decorated and had plenty of amenities! We loved our stay and want to come back to this condo in the future!

Our 3 families of 14, ages 5-52, thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Base Village Loft. Condo was exactly as pictured. Pros: - close to Gondola (5 mins walk) - two story arrangement, allowing everyone to spread out - full-size washer and dryer in the condo makes laundry convenient - well-stocked with toiletries, soaps and trash bags for our entire stay Cons (very minor): - the first floor is comprised of tile and hardwood and we tend to track snow, dirt and pebbles inside. Would be nice to have a swifter wet jet available for daily cleanup instead of the available broom and vaccum - for transparency, there are 3 flights of stairs to climb to get us to the gondola and back to the condo; may not be an issue for some but for our family with young kids, it was an endurance exercise, especially after a long day on the slopes - kitchen supplies, pots and utensils were sparse. Would have benefitted if it was outfitted with more items to cater to the gourmet chefs (different size pots and pans, more colander, increase the number of knives…etc). I did want to take a moment to recognize David from the Winter Park Management company. I emailed a few days before my arrival asking for a large stock pot. He said he would look into it and when I arrived, it was there ready for me. Also asked to check out at 11 am and was granted as well. Management was super-responsive. We had an exceptional experience and will be rebooking the same unit for next year! Best, Janel

Overall a great location for skiers and boarders with nicely appointed furnishings, bedding and flush towels. Our family of 14 made this space home for 4 nights and couldn’t be happier with the location. Pro: - good sized 3 bedrooms with bedding as described - a quick 5 min walk from condo to gondola, with A crepe store right downstairs - nice, absorbent towels - convenient full size washer and dryer - generous supply of paper towels, toilet papers that lasted our entire stay Con (very minor): - minimal cookware and pots available, not ideal for the gourmet chef - you have to walk 3 flights of stairs to get to the lift. Normally not a big deal but after a day of skiiing, it requires some effort I’d like to take a moment to recognize David from the management company. I called earlier to secure a large pot for our family of 14 and he was able to deliver. Thanks so much David, to help make our stay wonderful!

We had a great time. The only downside was that, in late spring, there were fewer dining options around the mountain after skiing than we would have liked. But that is about the resort more than the property. The place was actually great - and it is bigger than it looks like on the pics.

The house was just as described, and we couldn't have asked for more. it's quite literally a few steps away from the Gondola at Winter Park, and when you're done for the day there's a green run off of the Mary Jane trail that takes you almost right to the doorstep. Linens and beds were hotel quality, and the place was clean as a whistle. Also, communication was top notch - their hospitality team was able to get me and my group of 9 in and out without issue and were able to accommodate our arrival and departure. The garage was incredible to have, as well! Highly Recommend!

We had a very quick 2 night stay but our loft was more than accommodating. Very spacious, clean and right on the mountain. The only drawback was the hot tubs were shut down but we understood because of the safety risks. Thanks again and we will be back!

This 3 bedroom loft was the perfect size for our 7 guests that included 3 children. This loft is well located right in the heart of the shops of the base village. The garage is just steps away from the front door and is very well secured. Everything is accessible with codes so there is no need to keep track of keys! The walk to the Gondola is approximately 80 yards away. The loft contained enough supplies for cooking meals if needed. The 3 full bathrooms are excellent for multiple people getting ready at the same time. There was minimal times that foot traffic noise could be heard outside the master as the exterior steps to the parking garage are just below this window. There is really no drawback to this unit and we would stay there again! MANAGER COMMENTS: Excellent! We are so pleased the Loft worked well for your stay. We would love to host you again when your travels bring you back this way.

The customer service was excellent. The staff called upon arrival and departure to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was fantastic right at the base and the place was clean and spacious. My only complaint is the water pressure in the showers but that is minor. Great stay overall! Would recommend.

We (myself, Husband and 4 teenagers) go to Vail for spring break, but this year with Easter so late, we wanted to maximize our odds of good spring skiing. After much research, we hit on Winter Park. First, we worked with WP Lodging Company to find the condo. They were a DREAM to work with: great communication and commitment to a painless vacation. We shipped our ski's out early via Fedex, and they received the 3 HUGE bags, and put them in our condo prior to our arrival. They worked with Grocery Guys to make sure our food was there upon arrival. They answered emails promptly regarding dining options, etc.. Can't say enough good things about them. Second, the condo - Base Village Loft 104 was fantastic. Very airy, right over the crepes place (yum!) and next to Pizza Pedal'r (both HIGHLY recommend). Short walk to lifts in morning, and ski in via the Corridor at end of day when you are dead to walk anymore (remember? I have FOUR teenagers who are all younger and faster than me.) Plenty of towels, supplies like garbage bags, dishwashing detergent, 2 loads of laundry soap. Beds very comfortable. Supplied with humidifiers - well played. My only *slight* criticism is the unit is next to the stairs leading from the parking garage to the lifts, so in the morning you can hear skiers going down those steps. I chose to be the "glass is half full person" and use that as an alarm clock so that I didn't waste half the morning in bed - but that's up to you. Overall, highly recommend, and if we do Winter Park again, I will try to get same unit. Thanks! MANAGER COMMENTS: Wow! So great to hear all of this. We are all so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Loft 104 with us. Good on you for managing the ski in portion for the end of your day (and for finding Goodies creperie....the BEST!). Save those legs!! The Unit was very nice, clean, and the management company was great. Excellent location. Only complaint is the unit had no cupboards or a pantry to store food items. Note, garage was a little tight, but could fit a Nissan Armada SUV. MANAGER COMMENTS: We are so pleased you enjoyed Base Village Loft 104 overall. We will get working with the owner to find some more storage areas in the kitchen. It is a pain when things can't get put away. We hope to get to host you again sometime.

Perfect location for our ski holiday. This is about as close to the slopes as you can get at Winter Park, so it was great. Having the little 1 car garage was a nice touch too. We also enjoyed the living room/kitchen layout after we came off the mountain. This place is easy to relax in, and we are hoping to rent it again when we return in a few months.

This place was perfect for us. We loved the location right above the Village and right on the end at the top of the stairs. An elevator would have made it easier for our older guests and the guests dealing with altitude issues but it was very accessible. We did have a little plumbing issue, but the management took care of it very promptly after being alerted. The rooms are nice size and having three full baths was wonderful! We adored the gas fireplace, which always took the chill out of the air and loved being able to open our windows to breathe your cool clean air! We highly recommend! The staff is beyond helpful in everything!

MANAGER'S COMMENTS....You can't beat this location in the village! So happy to hear we were able to take care of the plumbing issue right away.  Glad it was a great set up for your group.Come back and see us again soon!

As an owner of a condo at another resort, I was extremely impressed with every aspect of the property management for this condo. check-in, check-out, cleaning, customer service, everything was handled in a manner I wish I could get from my own property manager. This loft was the perfect stay for our family of seven! The older kids enjoyed going downstairs to the village shops and restaurants just to hang out. There was so much for every age! The convenience of walking to and from the slopes was awesome. We loved the way the village was so beautifully decorated at night with the Christmas lights everywhere! It was a wonder stay! Hope to be back soon! MANAGER'S COMMENTS...It is a great multi-generational property. You can be together, but still have some space and the teens can explore the village without taking a shuttle.

Easily our best family trip! The location cannot be beat for access to the slopes. The property itself exceeded our expectations. There was more than enough space for our group. The check in process was so easy with the keyless entry. We will definitely be visiting again!

Stayed here with my teens who came for the down hilling. It was so easy for them to pick up their bikes at the rental shop and jump on the lift. I enjoyed my quiet time reading on the balcony and watching the people in the village below. It was very clean and well maintained. Will come back for ski season!
