450 Base Camp is a beautiful, spacious property. Clean, convenient to all we wanted in Winter Park. 10 minute walk to village at the base of the Gondola, 10 minute drive to town of winter Park. Highly recommended!

As a 62 y/o Grandmother responsible for coordinating this ski trip which included 1,4, and 7 y/olds, as well as their parents, I was stressed about the entire planning. This mtn VRBO was incredible. The kids loved the bottom floor media room for their own and the bunk beds as well as hot tub right out their door. Adults loved the location, bar area and just incredible beauty of this place. We would highly recommend. The mgmt company was also super helpful w/each of our requests. Loved our stay & will be back!!

Beautiful and incredibly roomy Ski-in/Ski-out large townhome that was wonderful for family of 9 adults for a weekend in Winter Park. Very clean, well equiped and the process of setting up and the check-in/check-out is super easy! Also the property managers are wonderful to deal with on ANY issues or questions!

The home was ideally located and loved the interior layout. All the 2 way fireplaces were a huge hit and the hot tub was used everyday after the lifts closed. We will definitely comeback in the future...

My family spent the Thanksgiving holidays at Winter Park Resort. It was truly a winter wonderland of beauty surrounding our condo and outdoor activities. The condo was really beautiful inside with large windows to the outside beauty. The cozy living room, fireplace, bar, tv and games galore! The grand staircase up to the gourmet kitchen was perfect for preparing out Thanksgiving feast and cozy breakfast by the fireplace in it. The masterbedroom was heaven! Large, cozy fireplace in front of the king bed that was heavenly. The bathroom a spa in itself to say the least, The other two queen rooms upstairs were well appointed in comfort. I really appreciated the efficient washer and dryer when needed. The ground level entry perfect for leaving snowboots and coats. A smaller den and bar by the back door that led to the soothing hot tub...aaahhh!!! The bunk room with comfy full size bed and one set of bunk beds and a nice bathroom. You cannot go wrong staying in this condo. We loved it...six adults and two children. The entire staff I encountered was magnificent, Margaret, Jill and Kelley. Always quick to answer a text or phone call to answer any questions about the condo or the resort. Will definitely come again!!!

We loved staying here! The kitchen is amazing and all our cooks enjoyed using it and eating in nightly. Lots of room with the second lounge/living area. All our guests felt so comfortable with all the space to spread out. This was also the cleanest rental I've seen!

This is our second year staying at Base Camp 480. Excellent experience. Condo had all the necessities and was a wonderful experience. Short walk up the path to the slopes. We will be back next year!

This was a wonderful property to stay at. My wife, our 3 kids and their spouses all had our own rooms, our own bathroom, and plenty of living areas apart from the sleeping areas. Great dining area and kitchen. The only issue was the 'ski-in-ski-out' designation does require a little bit of a hike (5-minute walk, up-hill both ways, in the snow). No really there is about 3 flights of stairs to go up and down getting to and from the slopes. But compared to how nice the place is, I would happily stay here again.

Excellent! Thanks so much Paul. So pleased everyone enjoyed the Base Camp area. Winter Park has very little ski in/out options due to being located on National Forest lands. It does require a bit of an effort to access the trail up the hill from the properties below it.

The lodge was great. Open floor plan. Plenty of room for 11 of us. We never felt cramped. Large kitchen with everything you need. Great location, quick to town. Walking distance to ski run that takes you to the gondola to access the mountain. Would recommend.

My family had a wonderful stay at 480 Base Camp! The resort and area surrounding was beautiful! The home was just as advertised and had any and all amenities you could ask for. The staff for WP Lodgings was helpful before and during our stay and was quick to respond to any questions we had. All in all myself and my family had no complaints and would love to stay with WP Lodgings again!

Base Camp is a great family town home . Clean, comfortable and close to the Village Ski in ski out is little tough on the younger and older but doable. I believe it was built in 2006 so it has been heavily used but it was still clean. It would have been nice to know there would be workmen climbing all of the unit repairing gutters at 7:00 AM each day but after the first morning all the ladies had their shades closed. Management did a great job I would return again.

We had a great week in Winter Park! The condo was perfectly clean, location was amazing, and everything worked great. WP Lodging Co staff go above and beyond! It's the small touches that matter. Things like a welcome gift, plenty of little laundry detergent boxes (so I don't have to buy it!), spices and olive oil there in the cabinet (so we don't have to buy spices or just use salt and pepper all week)! Staff were quick to respond by text to my questions. Compared to a certain V*** R***ty company that provided bad towels, no shampoo, no service for my luxury rental....this was a 5 star experience. Plus WP skiing is the same snow as V*** and everything else is about 1/2 the price. Plug for WP Ski School - try First Tracks with Kevin S. Beat the lines, get a lesson!

We were blown away as soon as we walked in. It’s a beautiful place, very spacious and great for our group of 8 people. The walk to the corridor trail wasn’t too bad - about 5 minutes, but up some steps. The location was beautiful and we had plenty of privacy on the back patio with the hot tub. Communication was excellent and we would absolutely recommend staying here.

We went here for a small getaway before my daughter leaves for college. The property was lovely. It was stocked with all the supplies we needed. Management was very responsive from when we booked until we left. Our family booked here again for next summer just as soon as we got back home. We enjoyed the mountains, taking the gondola ride, the restaurants around the area, the drive up to the Rocky Mountains and relaxing back at the property.

We stayed here with another family for a week in June 2020 and really enjoyed the place. We had 4 adults and 3 children and more than enough space for all. Hot tub was great, kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals, and the location was great. We walked to the base camp village daily and made the short drive into Winter Park several times. We also walked to Winter Park - only 3 Mike's on a nice trail. Thus was a great place to stay. We'll definitely think about returning.

How great that you were able to enjoy the Fraser River Trail from the resort down into town. It is so beautiful to walk through the forest along the river. Makes you forget COVID!

Great location for skiing. Base Camp 480 is spacious. Kitchen is great- updated. Nice cookware, cabinets and of course Spacious. Great long dining table for all to sit around. Highly recommend for 4 couples or a large family with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Very pleased with Winter Park Lodging Company. Very responsive. They did more than just book the place and forget about you. They kept in touch and communicated before and throughout stay with offering assistance as needed.

This was a great vacation. The resort and townhouse was absolutely beautiful. The house was great. It was clean and well maintained. My family loved the gourmet kitchen. The rooms and beds were prefect for a good nights rest. I would highly recommended this property.

We absolutely love staying at Winter Park Resort. The place was clean and beauty was everywhere you turn. We enjoyed walking in the village and the kids enjoyed the alpine slide and ski lifts. We went to Rocky Mountain National Park and fell in love with this park. The streams held nice trout to fish for. There was wildlife everywhere you turned and the scenery was absolutely breath taking. The drive from the resort is only 50 minutes but it goes by fast with the country you see while driving. I would highly recommend staying here. We plan on coming back next year to enjoy this area once again.

Great place for a large group of people, especially with the number of rooms and bathrooms, as well as the size of the common spaces and kitchen. No air conditioning, but the condo is stocked with many fans. The upstairs rooms were a little warm during the day due to the sun shining in. Highs were in the low 70s. Would go back again!

Our two families of 9 people enjoyed Base Camp 480 for Spring Break 2018. The location was close enough to the resort, access to the ski slopes via the green Corridor run, but yet tucked away from the village for a nice quiet retreat. The unit was in great shape. Some additional non-stick pans would be a nice add and the hot tub temp could have been slightly warmer. Other than that, the accommodations were great.

The 7 of us had a fantastic time at Base Camp 480. It was better stocked than any other place we've stayed. All the beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was exceptional. The only negative thing we can think of is the floors could have been a little cleaner and the bathrooms could have had more towels than one per person for 8 days. When we called Winter Park Resort, our requests were filled immediately. Compliments to Winter Park Resort!

A very nice comfortable unit with many extras. Was perfect for large family gathering. Winter Park Lodging company was very responsive to our needs and questions. Note: the unit is not a true ski in/ski out...path is up flights of stairs and the ski corridor to get to the stairs on your return is very challenging for some beginner/plus skiiers. Found the shuttle service to be unreliable and stops at 5:30 pm on the green line.

MANAGER COMMENTS:  We are so pleased Base Camp was a nice fit for you.  Our apologies if some property specifics were not as forthcoming as they could be.  We do advertise Base Camp 480 as "hiking trail to slopes", not "ski in/out".  The shuttle service does run until 2am each night via an on-call basis but the "normal" service does stop at 5:30 each night.  We will definitely get some more information on the property level for the shuttle.  Ridehop (app) also does a great job with providing information on schedules for The Lift shuttle.

It's always a treat to stay in one of the Base Camp properties, room enough for all. I hope the kids were able to play in the woods and the creek, while the parents enjoyed some adult beverages on the deck. Maybe you even had a bear sighting. We heard there was a big one up there poking around.

The only problem was the garbage disposal that didn't work. And I would have preferred to have been steered to rent equipment at Breeze instead of Mountain Adventure Center. Breeze is just more convenient to Basecamp480.

MANAGER'S COMMENTS...Apologies for the garbage disposal.  Glad we could get it working for the rest of your stay.  While Breeze is very close to the Base Camp neighborhood, some folks like to store their skis overnight at the MAC down in the village.  Choice is up to you.

Our "home" was well decorated and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the 3 fireplaces were a plus. Loved each room had a double or king beds. The number of bathrooms were awesome. Floors appeared heated. The driveway was "heated" as well. Cons: too many stairs; hot tub did not work the last day; several lights "blew" during our stay; each room did not have a TV; had to walk to get to the "black line," and road was not lit and the road was icy. Too much trouble to ski out (had to walk a ways) and could not ski in from a green trail.

MANAGER'S COMMENTS...Thank you for your feedback.  When you book again, let's find something that has easier access to the slopes and shuttles.  While this three level townhome does sit right on the mountain, it can be challenging for beginner skiers to use the ski in/ ski out access.  If you are a blue or above skier, you'll love the easy ski in route  from the Mary Jane side of the mountain and the ski down to the Winter Park base is a quick run as well.  If you ever need lightbulbs during your stay, just give us a call.  We don't want you to be in the dark for too long.

We loved everything about our stay at Base Camp 480! The large kitchen and living area were so inviting and everyone had their own private bathroom making it perfect for a large family. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day on the slopes and the ski-in/ski-out access to Corridor Trail made it a perfect place to stay. All of the properties we have rented through Winter Park Lodging Company have been beautiful, but this one was exceptional! Everything was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. My only note would be to add a few more cooking items to the kitchen area. There was no frying pan or stock pot to use, which made cooking dinner a couple of nights a bit tricky. Otherwise I would highly recommend this property.

We had an excellent time at Base Camp 480. Plenty of space for everyone and a wonderful kitchen. The location was excellent. We took advantage of the bus pickup/drop off point and the short hike to ski down the Corridor. Will definitely return in the near future.

Everything about the house was great! The space was as described and the location was perfect. When issues did come up, the WPLC staff were quick to help in a very friendly manner. The two air mattresses advertised were missing but they quickly dropped of new ones. We did have a few minor issues with the grill and garbage disposal not working, but overall it was a great stay. Manager Comments: Thanks for letting us know about the grill and garbage disposal. We'll get them checked on right away. Hope to see you again!
