Base Camp 476

We have stayed with Winter Park Lodging Company several times, at several different residences) over the years. Each stay has been excellent and better than the last. The team is very personable, easy to communicate with (our preference is by text if we need anything), and always willing to help. That said, we rarely need help because the residences have always been in good shape, well supplied, and CLEAN (that's a big deal for us :))! I can't say enough good things about them. Highly recommend!

The whole stay was enjoyable. Loved the view from the dining area, large table for seating all 6 of us, plenty of cookware to work with, lot of spices which we appreciated. We didnt use the hot tub because i for one couldnt see how i could easily get into it. A step or three to approach it? I have a spine issue. Beds very comfortable. Dishwasher was wonky but it ran. One of our party was in the double Q bunk and said the bed there very uncomfortable. The rest of the beds very nice! Showers lovely. One of the best places we have stayed and we have come to wp more than 20 years. Loved it!!

This Base Camp property had everything we needed for 2 families to enjoy a few days on the slopes. They have thought of everything when it comes to snowy mountain vacations. We had 7 skiers and there was plenty of space to put on equipment, launder it over night, and then put it back on each morning. We were able to comfortably store boots and skis in the garage. Additionally, the ski in/ski out feature came in handy - the path to the trail is just a few steps (and stairs) fro the property.
There are several levels to this property which was great for 2 families - it allowed the kids to focus in the lower levels and bunk room while the adults congregated on the main floor/kitchen.
Would DEFINITELY rent this property again for our next Winter Park ski trip.

Amazing kitchen that was so well stocked! Lots of room for all 7 of us to have space and it was terrific all had their own bathrooms. We did set up and use the ping pong table and it was really great. Super clean home and loved the hot tub as well. We would stay again and recommend for sure.

Base Camp 476 was a great house for our party of 8 (two families of 4)! The walk to the ski trail was a bit tiring at first, but it got easier as the week went on and was definitely better than not having access at all! The village was also an easy walk. The beds and bedding were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Having our own hot tub was a treat. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Base Camp 476 was a great house for our party of 8 (two families of 4)! Spent a week at Basecamp 476. Great location. Good warm up walk to the slopes. Well stocked kitchen for cooking (which we typically never do, but the kitchen made it easy). Comfy beds and the dual family rooms were great with young adult kids. Would definitely rent here again when we come back to Winter Park.

From check in to check out, we had a great experience. The place is beautiful and accommodated two families with room to spare. Large, well stocked kitchen with great space for entertaining. We cooked in most nights and there were ample dishes/cookware, etc. We came for a ski trip and appreciated the heated garage for our gear. Getting to the slopes is a bit of a hike, not for the feint of heart when hiking at altitude, but our crew (kids ages 12-15) handled it fine. We had one hiccup with the dishwasher during our stay and the winter park lodging team fixed everything that same day while we were on the slopes which was awesome. Really appreciated the excellent communication and responsiveness throughout our stay. We will be back!

Great place, the management company was great. There was a minor issue with the patio, due to damage on a unit next door, we were unable to use or access it along with the Hot tub. The management co was quick to let us know the same day of the booking, and offered a full refund. Great service

Was a nice spot to enjoy the mountains. Our adult children especially appreciated the queen/queen bunk beds. Ping pong was loads of fun for all as well. Easy on/off for biking Trestle. An ideal location to enjoy the activities of Winter Park Resort too.  Host were easy to contact and had lots of info provided prior to arrival.

Beautiful, comfortable, and clean condo, with an easy walk to the slopes (the stairs to the trail can be tiring when, like me, you're not used to the elevation!). We loved that baby gates were available to keep our 11 month old out of too much trouble. Hot tub was wonderful. The folks at Winter Park Lodging were super responsive as well. Thanks!

Absolutely gorgeous home and very welll appointed with nice pots and pans, etc. Winter Park Lodging Company was one of the best I’ve dealt with - ease of communication via text, quick to address any questions or concerns. I think the place should be listed as “slopeside” instead of ski-in/ski-out, as the walk through the path up the hill and then up ~ 5 flights of stairs (about 50 stairs) was an exhausting was to start the day - especially at altitude. That aside, a wonderful experience all-around.

We had 7 people staying in the house full-time and we had another person come for a night and all were well accommodated in this beautiful home. With easy access to the slopes, a well appointed kitchen (and kitchen essentials and more), our family had a great time skiing and then eating at the property before doing it again the next day. The house was spacious and comfortable for our 2 families. ( 4 adults and 7 teenagers ) Very nice to have a heated garage to store our skis. We used the hot tub, the BBQ and the entire kitchen and the laundry machines and everything is in perfect working order. ( maybe consider getting a garlic press and a few more cutting boards ) The ski out is convenient albeit a bit of a hike especially for the first day or 2 while trying to get acclimated to the change in altitude… but there is a handy shuttle that takes you in to the village if you prefer. The staff at Winter Park Lodging Company were accessible for questions and always friendly. We would definitely come again!

Base Camp 476 met our needs. Several of the family made use of the hot tub relaxing after skiing. We requested several extras and the management company promptly provided them. The lower level was the only negative because it was so very cold. Because of the open floor plan the entire family was able to interact and enjoy our time together.

Great location and lots of comfortable space to spread out or be together. Ample bathrooms, tvs and fireplaces in almost every room. Big well stocked kitchen and dining area. Loved having hot tub to ourselves with beautiful snowy forest view. A little hike up to main ski trail but so nice not to have to drive and park. Highly recommend for a big family or group!

We stayed around this location before. I loved the reading nooks in the Master bedrooms here. Kids adored the foosball table downstairs and their oversized bunks. Everyone enjoyed the well-cared for hot tub. Very nice! Thank you very much for opening your home.

Fantastic location with tons of amenities. The walk to the slopes is right by the front door, the hot tub with grill on the back porch is the perfect combo after a day of skiing, and the unit itself is very spacious. This home is amazing! We had a family ski vacation with a group of 10 and we had plenty of room. Sleeping arrangements were great... very comfortable beds, plenty of pillows and blankets. The were so many details and amenities about this house that made it perfect. The humidifiers were a fabulous surprise and helped so much with our dry skin and sinuses! The fully stocked kitchen had every pot, pan, utensil you could need. The dish soap and dishwasher detergent was so appreciated! I just can’t say enough good things about it. The kids had so much fun playing foosball too. Your house is beautiful, comfortable, and felt like home away from home. Thank you for having us... it made our vacation perfect!

Ski in ski out convenience hard to beat at Winter Park. Very nice property with good amenities. Kitchen very nicely furnished, beautiful place with plenty of room for all guests. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for high end property with ski in ski out access. Location of ski shop within 3 minute walk is great as well.

We stayed in Base Camp 476 unit for a week. The house was amazingly well equipped and provided us with a perfect home base for 7 adults and 2 babies with a room to spare (having 2 baby gates and some other baby equipment available was very helpful). A huge kitchen with lots of dishes, utensils and extras made our meal preparations easy and fun. The lodging company was very accommodating as well - we were able to check in earlier than expected, and they let us have packages sent to the office prior to our arrival and had those waiting for us at the house, which was very helpful.

This was our 3rd stay at Base Camp 476 and we enjoyed it just as much as our prior stays. The condo is spacious and equipped with everything you need for a weeklong family stay. This was our 3rd stay at Base Camp 476 and we enjoyed it just as much as our prior stays. The condo is spacious and equipped with everything you need for a weeklong family stay. We stayed in Base Camp 476 last week. It was a wonderful trip for our 2 kids and their families. The house was just beautiful with lots of space and well outfitted with kitchen utensils, fireplaces, bathrooms, etc. Be prepared thiugh for the altitude and going up and down the 4 levels in the condo. All but one of us acclimated pretty well in one day. There was some construction down the hill from our condo but wasn't a problem except for parking of our 3rd car - but it was nearby. We were so close to the Winter Park Village with a short drive or easy walk down the hill. So many activities for the entire family and just beauutiful. We hiked on the trails behind the condo and explored the beautiful creek. After a hike on our last full day, we were back relaxing and a brown bear came down the path we had taken and into the culdesac. We all ran to the front balcony - it lioked at us and turned and went back up the path! So exciting but there really are bears and wildlife around!! Great facility and beautiful surroundings. We plan on coming back in the winter.

Our family of 5 stayed here for a long weekend and had a fabulous stay. The home is beautiful but not fussy. It is possible to ski in and out if you just climb the path and steps behind the house. Very easy access to the WP Village and the shops/restaurants there. There is a TV in every room and fireplaces in all sorts of places, especially like the one in master bed/bath! The home was spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend it and will hope to return again. WP Lodging was a great company to work with for our reservations.

Large enough garage to accommodate Crew cab f150 with plenty of space left to get around vehicle. Only suggestion I would have is for the amount you pay to stay in this place you should be provided at least one parking pass for the guest parking in front of town homes. We had other family members staying in winter park that would come over to hang out in the evening and the only allowable parking is way down the hill. Base Camp at Jane Creek is a wonderful place to vacation. Perfectly situated in a serene wooded setting just outside of Winter Park Base, it provides ski in/ski out along the corridor trail directly to the base of the Zephyr Lift. If you prefer not to ski in, the shuttle is a very convenient option. As for the accommodations, we were once again pleased (this is our second stay at unit 476!). The furnished kitchen provided everything we needed, including a crock pot. The bedrooms were all very comfortable, and the 5 bathrooms provided extra convenience. We are a large family, so the 2 living areas provided separate areas to watch movies, play games, etc. comfortably. The garage and storage area were perfect for taking off ski gear at the end of the day without tracking snow into the house. We didn't use the grill, but the hot tub was extremely nice and clean after a long day of skiing! All in all, we loved our stay, and we hope to return again in the future! The only recommendations for improvement would be to furnish the unit with a broom. We looked everywhere for one, but couldn't find it. :) Manager Comments: Absolutely. We will make sure the broom makes it way back into the property. Thanks for letting us know!

From the heated garage to the relaxing hot tub, and all the SPACE for everyone to be, this place is a sure winner. It's a quiet home, high-end details, quality everything. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!

I already talked to someone and gave my feedback. For the most part, our family had a wonderful time. Biggest concern was the main fireplace fan was way to loud so we weren't able to use it. Other than that it was a beautiful place! Managers Response: Thank you so much for being a guest of Winter Park Lodging Company, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. I'm sorry to hear that the fireplace fan seemed loud and have sent one of our technicians out to check on it today. Wow, what a fantastic four days we spent at Base Camp 476! This beautiful townhouse amazed us from the moment we entered. Every room contains many amenities to the point where we felt like we were staying in a five star hotel. Yet, the townhouse is comfortable enough that we felt like we were at home. The master suite is amazing, complete with its own fireplace, flat screen TV, remarkable bathroom, back porch, and, best of all, the running stream right behind the room. The kitchen is extremely spacious and very well equiped; it satisfied all of our cooking needs. Although only three of us visited, it is clear that this townhouse can easily and comfortably accommodate several families. Winter Park Village is just a brief stroll from the complex. And, it's a great summer destination. We enjoyed many venues in Winter Park during our July visit, including the Alpine Slide, hiking, and putt putt golf. Since we are skiers, we look forward to returning to Base Camp and enjoying a ski season visit. We are confident that a winter visit will be just as, if not more, enjoyable!

What an incredible place!! My wife and I spent 4 days there in June and didn't want to leave it was so peaceful. We loved the stream in back and going to sleep every night to the sound of it running over the rocks. The kitchen is is wonderful and we loved cooking on that incredible stove. The hot tub, spacious master bath with tub, fireplace, and tv, front and back decks, and open living area made every part of our stay perfect. This is a perfect place for a couple or large family because it is big enough even 12 people wouldn't be tripping over each other. I can't imagine how beautiful it must be in the winter with all the snow - I guess we'll need to return and find out. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us - as you can tell we absolutely loved it!! Surprisingly, the only negative thing I can say is the pictures don't do it justice. You can't capture the overall beauty and comfortable feeling it has in pictures - you have to stay there to understand what we mean.

This condo is absolutely beautiful. The home is decorated with an expert touch and the kitchen is a cooks' dream. All the amenities you could ever want are included with special touches such as robes in the bedrooms. The hot tub is one of our favorite parts of the condo. It is COMPLETELY PRIVATE unlike many of the others. No one can see you relaxing in the hot tub after a long day on the slopes. Speaking of the slopes, they are fantastic and the bus (for those of us who don't ski well enough to "ski in") drops you very close to the condo so you don't have to walk far with your skis. This condo is perfect for a family or for multiple families as it is very large with many bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate. We had 3 families together and we weren't tripping over each other even after 5 days.
