We just got back from a quick ski trip to Winter Park with all of our kids Had all of our kids and nieces and nephew. While the snow conditions weren't the best, Base Camp 462 Iron Horse Way was incredible! It was clean and ready for us ahead of schedule. The Winter Park Lodging team was helpful and prompt in responding to my questions before arriving and while there. A great location and a great experience!

Communication with the management company was great! They provided details and information in a timely fashion. They checked in throughout the trip to make sure everything was good and if we had questions or needed anything. The townhouse was clean and very well appointed. We came to enjoy Trestle for the end of the season. This was an amazing spot for that! Very close bike down to the property. Private hot tub at the end of the day. Super clean, well stocked spot and caring hosts that made sure we had all needed. We loved it here....we'll be back!

This was a great condo for our group of six guys from all over the country. It was beautiful, well stocked, and everything was top-of-the-line. The space is awesome as you have many separate bedrooms but also a very functional living room/bar/kitchen dining area. It would be fine for many more people than what we had. It is a pet friendly unit so expect to find some pet hair here and there. The radiant heating made it a little difficult to cool it down to a good sleeping temperature especially upstairs. All of the units here at base camp require a pretty good hike through the trees and then up several flights of stairs to get to the ski corridor. You will be winded by the time you get there. But it does not require any driving or a shuttle, which is nice. We did find a little spot to ski through the woods on the way back home and directly to the house. The kitchen was fabulous. Best stocked kitchen I have ever stayed in. Top of the line everything. Smart TV in living room is high end with all apps needed along with a cranking Sonos sound set up. All in all we had a fantastic stay. Very cool location and beautiful property!

We loved it here! So much space and comfortable layout. Our dog was in heaven! Terrrific walks along the road and quiet, shady neighborhood. We enoyed the resort and being so close to all the activities there. Thank you very much for hosting our grateful crew!

Great townhome in Winter Park. Close to the ski slopes. Place was exactly as described and perfect for our late spring ski trip. This was the best accommodations we have ever stayed in. One of the cleanest Airbnb locations we’ve stayed at! Stocked with every item you could think to need and then some! Washer and dryer on both upper and lower levels. The master on the upper level shows to have a walk in closet, but is for the owners and locked. There is a large chest to put your clothes. Within walking distance of ski trail and shops at the base. Yes, there are lots of stairs, but loved the open floor plan for living room and kitchen, then the privacy of each bedroom. Very dog friendly area, which we loved! The Lodges are VERY close, so not as quiet as we’d like at night, although we knew the risk beforehand. All around, amazing Airbnb and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at BaseCamp 462. My two comments are as follows. The kitchen needs a griddle for pancakes, grilled cheese etc. Otherwise the kitchen was fabulous. Also, I believe the ski in/ski out description needs to be a bit more realistic. 150 yards or steps does not properly describe the process. Full disclosure of the real process would be appreciated. Thank you.

We had the most wonderful time staying in Winter Park, CO. The property and location were more than I hoped for; we had snow and fall colors. We were able to easily stay in contact with Property Manager via text and any concerns were addressed right away. They were on top of email updates and follow up phone calls prior to our stay. It made traveling with kids so much easier, one less thing to worry about. Our kids and friends all loved the property and its proximity to activities. The home was immaculate and there was more than enough space for everyone. A dreamy owners suite, multiple fireplaces, and a hot tub among snow dusted tress. There was a designated space for kids with games and some toys which was an added bonus. I can not think of a single thing that was less than perfect about our stay. We will definitely be back.

Great property! Loved being in the cool woods during a hot time. Private hot tub was excellent and terrific location for easy on/off biking. Quiet location but quick ride down the hill to the base area. We shall return!

This home was perfect! The location is only about a 10 min easy walk to Winter Park Village. There is also a shuttle available at the Iron Horse Resort (next door property) that you can catch for free. This property has EVERYTHING!!! We utilized all 4 bedrooms. Each room has their own designated bathroom with plenty of towels, soap, etc.... The kitchen has all the amenities that are needed. We forgot our crockpot but the property had it!!! The pantry cabinet included coffee, filters, olive oil, spices and foil paper. Plenty of trash bags and paper towels. We stayed right after Thanksgiving and to our surprise, a Christmas Tree was also provided. This property has everything that it claims to have. The jacuzzi is cleaned out between renters, which is FANTASTIC! One last thing I'd like to mention that was important to me, is that Winter Park Lodging Company was awesome!!! They were excellent in their communication, response time and flexibility. They have the option of texting which was super convenient!! Wonderful experience!!!!

This place was exactly as described as were the pictures. It was clean and well maintained. They had everything you need, including plenty of humidifiers that we definitely used due to the dry air. The main master bedroom did not have a closet to use so you will have to use the dresser to store your clothes, but that's just a tip and not a complaint. Easy check in, check out. Highly recommend. We had 4 couples and a golden retriever and everyone was very pleased!

Base Camp 462 has it all. Close access to the slopes, private hot tub, kitchen with all the amenities that one needs for accommodating all guests, and ample room for our multi- generational family. Amazing property. Very well maintained and decorated. Short hike to the ski run (corridor) and up some steps. The more adventurous in our group skied through the woods back to the condo, but I would probably recommend just walkibg back down the stairs. Easy parking for 2 cars, easy ski storage in the garage. 4 person hot tub on a great deck. Great room/kitchen was a tremendous place to hang out and watch the Olympics! Owners checked in on us via text several times and responded promptly to all inquiries. Had a great time and would return!

There were nine of us girls who stayed at the beautiful condo in Winter Park. We have stayed at many properties but this is the nicest of them all! They have given attention to every detail, we felt like we were at home and never wanted to leave! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who would like to get away and relax in the beautiful Colorado mountains.

Our Family Reunion was held at the Base Camp Condo of which 462 was on of the 5 we rented. All the units were nicely decorated, with fully appointed kitchens. The location was private, yet it was easy to access the base of the mountain and gondola, activities and restaurants.

Beautiful home, fabulous location, and had everything you would need. Really open floor plan on the main level but also plenty of room to have private space if needed. Lots of beds and bathrooms for everyone. It does have a lot of stairs so if you have knee issues, maybe not the best spot for you. Backs right to a trail up the mountain! We loved it.

Felt very homey and very comfortable. Loved the location to get in/out for lunch/breaks....especially this weird year! More than enough space for all of us and room for all to spread out. We hope to return and appreciate everyone's help at the lodging company......a terrific stay!

Amazing, fully stocked kitchen, with everything you need - down to the spice rack! We loved the fireplace and TV in the kitchen, made it easy to seat and entertain our group of 12 with big meals. Description is very accurate on the entire home! Hot tub was wonderful to relax in, with private views of the trees! Some info for new groups - there are a lot of stairs - All of the masters are on the 3rd floor, so may not be great for all groups! We would also consider this more trudge in/trudge out - you couldn't ski directly to the house. It was about a 400 yard walk uphill to put on skis to go down to the gondola. Make sure you read the directions with your check-in because the closer path is not in plain sight.

5 Stars - Wonderful. Our group of seven adults were thankful for the boot driers, games and humidifiers. Loved using the private hot tub and cooking in the well stocked kitchen. Beautiful and spacious rental.

Hands down, the BEST rental company we've EVER used! 5 STARS!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Every time I called all of the staff I spoke to was incredibly polite, professional & helpful. They seemed to REALLY want to help me with our vacation plans. Base Camp 462 was absolutely phenomenal. The owners thought of everything, from heated bathroom floors, to boot dryers, gourmet kitchen, hot tub, great TVs, 2 sets of washers/dyers, sound system throughout, heated driveway~ you name it & it was there & it was TOP NOTCH! The linens & decor were extremely tasteful and of high quality, as well as all of the appliances, kitchen utensils & electronics. The views from this house were gorgeous!!! We had plenty of room with 2 families for a total of 9 people. We never felt crowded or cramped. The starter toiletries were Aveda brand. The Winter Park Lodging Company had a personal handwritten letter to us on the kitchen counter along with other sweet welcoming surprises including a BIG bag of high quality trail mix & nuts. Instructions for everything in the home were clearly marked & explained. The hospitality app that WPLC offers was incredibly helpful & informative. We will ABSOLUTELY use WPLC again & highly recommend them to everyone! MANAGER COMMENTS: Awesome! Thank you SO MUCH Hillary. The owners thought of everything, from heated bathroom floors, to boot dryers, gourmet kitchen, hot tub, great TVs, 2 sets of washers/dyers, sound system throughout, heated driveway~ you name it & it was there & it was TOP NOTCH! The linens & decor were extremely tasteful and of high quality, as well as all of the appliances, kitchen utensils & electronics. The views from this house were gorgeous!!! We had plenty of room with 2 families for a total of 9 people. We never felt crowded or cramped. The starter toiletries were Aveda brand. The Winter Park Lodging Company had a personal handwritten letter to us on the kitchen counter along with other sweet welcoming surprises including a BIG bag of high quality trail mix & nuts. Instructions for everything in the home were clearly marked & explained. The hospitality app that WPLC offers was incredibly helpful & informative. We will ABSOLUTELY use WPLC again & highly recommend them to everyone!

Really nice spot in the woods and great bedding layout for a bunch of singles to stay. We had a great time and would love to come back when it's ski season to be right close to the trail system! Thank you to all the folks at the company for checking in on us.

The kitchen is to die for! That and the dining table made for the perfect way to feed our hungry group of skiiers. All the rooms were spacious and totally functional for each little family unit in our party. Parking was a little odd, but we were able to work out a system with our 3rd car. We should have read in the app more closely that there are only 2 spots! All in all a great vacation.

How can you beat it? Great accommodations and your service is second to none. I will say that the one real tough issue is parking. We had heard repeatedly form your staff that there was " free overflow parking" right off of Iron Horse way. 8 of us scoured every inch of that space looking for such an area. Every spot we saw was explicit in that it was only to be parked in with a permit or you were to be towed at owners expense. We simply never found it and so there was some misunderstanding on that piece, otherwise thank you very much for another great time. Thank you MANAGER'S COMMENTS...Sorry to hear you weren't able to find the overflow parking area. We will get that better stated in the app, so you can find it on your next visit. We'll see you next year!

For such a big house, 2 parking spaces was inconvenient and the TVs were very small and out of date. The cable was connected via the old red/yellow/white audio/video cables. This wouldn't have been much of an issue, but we brought a nintendo 64 which requires the same adapter ports, so we had to unplug and replug everything in when we wanted to switch between cable TV and game play. This didn't ruin the trip or anything near that, but it would be relatively cheap to improve the TV/cable set up (get a bigger TV, hook everything up with HDMI cables). I was still very happy with everything else, so my comments are meant as constructive criticism not a complaint. Thanks

This house was very roomy, had a fully stocked kitchen (more than my own home), toys for kids, games, extra linens, etc. the only thing I would change is the pillows and directions on best way to get to mountain such as bus routes and times or trail to slopes. We enjoyed our stay at Base Camp 462. The condo is updated, very well organized for large families, and allowing pets was a nice bonus. You walk to the slopes and that's especially nice for coming home. You can also take a shuttle to WP. The kitchen is stocked (think more than your own) with spices, cookware, and lots of dishes. There are plenty of bathrooms for the number of guests that can sleep there. Hot tub is on the porch so easily accessible although only fits 3-4 adults. We tried the restaurant in the complex (La Collina) and the service was good, nice selection of food, and easy to get to if you don't want to venture downtown. We appreciated the service of the staff answering our questions too. Would highly recommend this place.
