Fresh Powder. Fresh Pours. The mountains are calling and they're serving craft beer! Most beer festivals are a chaotic mess of parking lot asphalt and warm samples. TheBigWonderful is different. We've traded the pavement for the Continental Divide and the "festival crowds" for a curated mountain experience. On March 28th, the BigWonderful Beer Fest is taking over the Winter Park Resort Base Area for a day of heavy-hitting bluegrass, 40+ local makers, and unlimited pours from Colorado's best independent breweries. Whether you're clicking out of your skis or driving up for the day, this is the Saturday you've been waiting for all season.
The Saturday Itinerary
11:00 AM: VENDOR VILLAGE OPENS
- Shop the curated Vendor Village. 40+ Colorado makers, artists, and creators. Grab lunch in the village and scout your spot by the stages. (Free Entry)
1:00 PM: TASTING COMMENCES
- The taps open. Your Beer Tasting Wristband gives you four hours of unlimited samples from 20+ of the state's most respected breweries. No tokens. No math. Just real beer.
1:00 PM - 5:00 PM: LIVE BLUEGRASS
- Two stages of non-stop string music. We provide the soundtrack; the mountains provide the backdrop. Check out the Instagram account for the official line-up announcement!
5:00 PM: LAST CALL
- The tasting ends, the sun dips, and the aprés-ski legends are made.

Earn your turns and enjoy a spectacular on-mountain meal in Winter Park. Break out your boots, snowshoes, or uphill gear and meander up to the on-mountain lodge, Snoasis, for a unique dining experience. Guides will be stationed along the route to assist with any questions, or you're welcome to choose your own path. After dinner, ski down under the moonlight to end your evening. Choose from one of three event dates offered this season or grab your friends and attend them all!

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this 21+ only?
No way! You must be 21+ with valid ID to drink, but families love the vendor market and music. It's always a hit for all ages.
Is there food?
The village has a number of great options for every meal and outside food is allowed.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely, just keep an eye on those paws to make sure they're warm enough.
Is there parking?
Yes. Free parking at Winter Park Resort base area. We recommend carpooling, shuttling, or using rideshare.
What's included in my ticket?
Your wristband gives you unlimited beer tasting from all participating breweries.
What if I don't drink beer?
We've got you. Free walk-in entry lets you enjoy the music, food, and mountain atmosphere. Plus, there's always NA options on-site.
Do I need a ski pass?
No. Festival is in the base area — no lift ticket required.
