Imagine pulling into the garage and the kids hopping out of the car to run through the house, exploring all the rooms and treasures inside. It's this excitement that we hope you experience throughout your stay at Eagle Wind Lodge and in Winter Park. Cooks will love the large kitchen with tons of counter space, a wall of windows looking into the mountain landscape, and all the rest of the necessities for preparing home cooked meals. The large dining table seats twelve, with seating at the island for five and a smaller dining table for four more, perfect for the kids.

The giant King Master bedroom is a suite unto itself, taking up an entire half of the upper floor. Enjoy a plush king-size bed, a large private balcony, a double-sided fireplace, and a sitting area with a sofa, two armchairs, and a flat-screen TV. Picture windows line the walls, bringing in lots of natural light and allowing peaceful mountain viewing. The walk-in closet is massive, and the master bathroom is a treat with an oversized bathtub with lovely views and the double-sided fireplace. Four more elegant bedrooms grant space for a total occupancy of up to sixteen guests.

BEST OF ALL - this home has a giant space dedicated to your fun and leisure, with a deck holding a bubbly outdoor hot tub, a recreation room with a pool table and ping-pong table, a lounge room with a plush leather sectional sofa and a giant flat-screen TV. Plus, if you must, you can work at the large desk if you have to catch up on emails.

Homeowner's Tip:  Bring your sunglasses to breakfast so you can sit at the kitchen island enjoying your coffee, conversation, and the sun rising over the Continental Divide. Then, our first day hike is always Broome Hut Trail. It is a short hike which helps us get acclimated while enjoying a creek, expansive views, and a bathroom at the top!

Sleeping Arrangements: Master bedroom with a King bed and a Queen sleeper sofa, and second bedroom with a Queen bed on the upper level. Third bedroom with two Queen beds on the main level. Fourth bedroom with a King bed and fifth bedroom with two sets of twin bunks and a Queen EZ Bed on the lower level. Sleeps up to sixteen. 

Location: Elk Run, a quiet neighborhood above Downtown Winter Park.  Approximately 3 miles to Winter Park Resort (on free winter shuttle route).

Please Note: This is a quiet neighborhood, so if you are looking for a mountain home to party in, this gorgeous mountain home is not for you. Quiet hours begin at 8pm daily. Please respect your neighbors, many of which live nearby year-round
