Zephyr Mountain Lodge 2305

We had a fantastic stay! Unlike many of the older, more rustic rentals in the building and in the area, this unit feels fresh and modern while keeping a cozy, outdoorsy cabin vibe. It was spotless, and both the kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed. What we loved: • Convenience: True ski-in/ski-out access with a huge private locker that easily fit multiple snowboards. • Communication: The check-in and checkout instructions were some of the most thorough and well-organized we've seen. A few tips for future guests: • The building's numbering system can be a bit confusing; pay close attention to the floor signs when carrying luggage so you don't get lost! • There are only two elevators for the building, but since this unit is on the 3rd floor, the stairs are a great, quick alternative during busy times. Note: The pillows provided are quite thick/firm. If you prefer a thinner pillow for neck comfort, you may want to bring a travel one along. We would definitely stay here again!

This location was ideally situated near many places to eat in Winter Park and all of our excursions in the area. It has a wonderful view of the mountain, walking distance to the gondola, chair lift, Alpine slide, eateries, trails to hike, and easy parking access. We will definitely beback!

Perfect location. Gondola out your window. Mini mart below. Restaurants a block away. We picked the condo for its proximity to everything. It was clean and exactly as we expected. The air bed for my son took up the whole family room, but did the job. Only complaint was the WiFi was as slow as dialup. We used our phone as hotspot and got by.

Overall, you cannot beat the location and the condo was sufficient for four people. The host was very responsive with a couple of questions and needs that we had. The bed that they use in the living room is sufficient for children and smaller adults. I would suggest a couple of updates, including a new coffee maker and some thicker/warmer linens for the winter time, but overall everything was very nice. So close to the slopes and everything at Winter Park resort is short walking distance.

We picked this Condo at Zephyr Mountain Lodge just so we could be by the Trestle Bike shop because my husband rented a bike and participated in a class to bike down the mountain. Apparently, there is some renovation going on below on the first floor. I assume Winter Park resort is adding some new stores. We had a wonderful time staying in this Condo it was clean and cozy. The parking garage was nice and you can even lock up your bike equipment. The management company was very helpful with all the arrangements.

Renting this property was easy and our stay was great. The condo was directly in front of the Gondola which was amazing. We loved the view and enjoyed our stay. The lockers on level on were great for our skis and equipment. Great trip all together. The skiing was great too!

We had a quick trip out (3 days) no kids for some much needed riding. Proximity to the mountain was AMAZING! Room was great, had everything we need plus some extras. However, my husbanded was a bit shocked when there was no hot water with the shower at 330 am before our departure but "Stuff happens!". Totally will come back in a heartbeat! The mini ski town was amazing. Go to the bistro bar and ask for Chris, dude hooks it up real nice! We got massages as well, at Alpen Glow which was fantastic. Great place to make some memories. Oh yea, the mountains are top notch too!

Amazing location for skiing/snow boarding. Right next to the lift. Garage parking and lockers for equipment. Enjoyed the village but wished restaurants stayed open a little later. Our host company had great communication and appreciated the little touches - coffee, tea, creamer. Will certainly be back!

The condo was very clean and worked well for our family of 4. We had a wonderful vacation and love staying at the Zephyr. Winter Park Lodging Company is always so easy to work with and always try to accommodate our request. We had a few small issues but nothing that would keep us from returning. There isn’t any storage space but we found corners to put our bags. The bed and couch were very comfortable and we loved the view from our balcony and living room window. The room is a walk to the elevator but that is not a big deal. The condo had plenty of pots and pans for cooking meals but there isn’t anything to store leftovers. We luckily had ziplock bags we used to store our leftover food. The stove is a little finicky and wouldn’t always come on when you turned the knob but after messing with the knob a few times it would work. We did miss having a table for meals. The bar stools are not comfortable and very difficult to get in and out of. Overall we would stay at 2305 again and did not feel like the issues were a big deal.

The condo was great for my husband and I for a three night stay. For optimal skiing, we enjoyed staying right in the village even though we found the choices of restaurants for an evening meal (with dietary requirements) to be limited. Since we had a rental car, we easily drove 10 minutes into the town of Winter Park to find a few more dining options.

WPLC staff are great and did a great job. This is our second rental through them. The process of reservation, check-in and check-out was seamless. The unit itself was a great location for easy acres to gondola. We ate lunch at the unit every day on the slopes. The unit is a bit dated and standard ski condo lay-out. The trash can is in a very inconvenient location but we don't know where else it could go. We recommend replacing the cushion chair IMMEDIATELY. We were pleasantly surprised by the blow-up mattress. The range burners need to checked out as they ALL come on very slowly to heat up. The kitchen needs to be better stocked. You need real cereal bowls and not the saucers. We were NOT happy with the Zephyr's policy that didn't allow us to use the fitness room before 8 am. That is pretty lame for a resort. Also, I went out to use the hot tub one afternoon. While I was about to get in, the maintenance guy came out and dumped chlorine into the tub !!!! Tub maintenance while people are using it - how stupid can you be. On a good note, the transportation bus service right from the lodge instead of going over to catch the city bus was very handy and convenient. The front desk staff as very helpful and friendly even though we were not booking through them. Ski lockers were very convenient and large enough. Unfortunate that some parents like to use this space to dress their toddlers before hitting the slopes instead of in their room. I guess some people don't think about how their actions effect others. All in all, it was a good trip and we would recommend Winter Park Lodging Company and this unit to others. MANAGER COMMENTS: Our apologies for such an inconsistent experience John. We are reaching out to the Resort to find out about adjusting the fitness facility hours and why the hot tub was treated with guests in it! Yikes. We are updating the bowls, kitchen ware and the chair in the property and so pleased that the Resort shuttle services worked out well for your needs. Came for a final father/son weekend before school starts back. Winter Park is our favorite place to be one with nature and get away from distractions. Makes it perfect for conversation that usually doesn't’t happen at home. No complaints about the condo. Always a little warmer in the summer but that is to be expected. Winter Park Lodging Company is always our go-to for finding a place to stay here.

We are a family of 4 with a 8 and 10 year old and we had a great time in room #2305. It has a great view of the mountain. It was so fun to watch them start up the mountain for the day and to look down and people watch. All the beds were very comfortable. The room is located farther from the elevator which we enjoy because there is less noise. We had no problems with noise from any other units. The free shuttle into town was great so we didn't have to drive once we were there. Soaking in the hot tub while it snowed down on us was magical. The ski lockers were a great bonus so we didn't have to lug all of our stuff up with us. Great stay and great experience with Winter Park Lodging Company. They were very attentive to all of our needs. I would highly recommend booking with them. They are very helpful. MANAGER COMMENTS: Yay! Sounds like an awesome time. You guys know how to ski vacay. It was so fun to watch them start up the mountain for the day and to look down and people watch. All the beds were very comfortable. The room is located farther from the elevator which we enjoy because there is less noise. We had no problems with noise from any other units. The free shuttle into town was great so we didn't have to drive once we were there. Soaking in the hot tub while it snowed down on us was magical. The ski lockers were a great bonus so we didn't have to lug all of our stuff up with us. Great stay and great experience with Winter Park Lodging Company. They were very attentive to all of our needs. I would highly recommend booking with them. They are very helpful.

My daughter was on break from college and we had the best time at the Zephyr. We could look out our window and see the lifts and runs. The room was perfect. They left us a great little 'welcome note' and some chocolates. We Will Be Back!! ;o)) MANAGER COMMENTS: Yay! That's wonderful to hear. We're all suckers for some Enstroms here! We had a great stay and a really good experience booking through Winter Park Lodging Company! I got a better rate and customer service than another hotel chain in the area. I would definitely recommend them and use again in the future.

This condo complex is always very quiet and clean!! The only complaints I have are..... the sofa needs to be replaced. There is an area on the sofa, right side, that is completely worn-out. When you sit on it, you fall directly on a hard piece of metal/steel. Also, the rug in the kitchen needs to be washed or replaced. However, my complaints are truly superficial... not major at all!! The lodging company called everyday to ensure everything was, as it should be and to see if I needed anything! The view from the balcony was amazing. However, I do wish and hope this condo would invest in some central air!! This weekend was hotter than normal, which mean the condo was extremely hot as well.

MANAGER'S COMMENTS...We will test out that sofa and report back to the owner. Same for the rug. Central air is nice, but we just don't have it in the mountains.  We love that fresh air from open windows. We are always happy to bring more fans to help move it around, just give us a call.

Very nice apartment and location. Clean living and common areas. Some furniture was "wobbly" or a well-worn, but nothing unexpected. Consider including a list of the week's events around the base area in the welcome package, e.g. Kids Night, Broom Ball tournament, free ice skating lessons, etc.

MANAGER'S COMMENTS...Love the idea for a weekly events sheet!  Our Guest Experience Team is working on a plan for that right away.  The only things that should be "wobbly" are your legs after a big day of skiing, so our Maintenance Team is tightening up the shaky furniture too.

Everything was great with the exception of a couple items; 1. The microwave did not work, and 2. The fireplace did not work. It was great to have coffee, but there was no creamer or sugar.

Manager's Comments...Glad to hear you had a great stay with us. I wish you would have called our office to let us know about the microwave and fireplace! We would have been more than happy to deliver a new microwave and turned the pilot light back on had we known. I hope the rest of your weekend was a blast and you got to experience lots of summer fun in the mountains. Come back and visit us again soon!

The unit was very comfortable with great views. The kitchen has a standard setup with basic cooking items. One burner on the electric stove did not work. I would recommend an additional big mirror, located in the master bedroom. The unit can accommodate up to 4 guest, but its hard for other guest to get ready unless they are in the bathroom. Manager Comments: Sorry the burner did not work during your stay Betsy. Our skilled maintenance techs are on the job. We will look into placing another mirror in the Master too. We really enjoyed our stay. The location of the lodge with respect to the ski lifts could not have been any better. A few remarks about the room. The toaster is busted and is a fire hazard. A burner on the stove is out. Other than that everything was just perfect. Oh accept for my old out of shape body getting a work out of the decade! Thanks for all your help! Travis Manager's Comments... Thanks for the heads up on the toaster and the stove burner. We have our property care team getting those things fixed asap. As for the old body and sore muscles, I hope you recover quickly and come back again soon.

We stayed in this condo for a weekend get-a-way. It was perfect for me and my husband. I especially loved the Starbucks directly underneath the building!! It was great being situated right in the village.it was nice to walk around after a day of skiing and enjoy the restaurants and shops. We didn't even need a car since everything we needed was right there in the village. We will be back. Make it a little cheaper and we'll come back every weekend!!
