Had a great stay at this home - we were able to comfortably fit 20 men at the house for a ski trip. The house had plenty of space for everyone and all 5 of our cars, and the hot tub was a popular amenity. Thanks for hosting us and making it a memorable weekend!

What are great stay at this wonderful large home for our group of 4 families! Location is excellent with private setting and only about 50 yards to the brown line bus stop! Communication was excellent and instructions on getting and all that the home had to offer were very clear and simple. We will look to book again when we visit Winter Park!

We had such a heat time at Trout Creek! The house is huge - plenty of space for our 5 families to spend a fun long weekend together. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfy. We’ll definitely stay again if we decide to head back to Winter Park.

Trout Creek Lodge was an amazing place to stay. There was plenty of room for our group of 19. The house was very clean and stocked with plenty of toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap and coffee filters. The kitchen was filled with plenty of dishes and enough pots and pans for every meal we planned. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. Everyone loved relaxing in the hot tub and spending time in the upstairs and downstairs rec rooms. The young children had a blast on the climbing wall. There is no yard space for outdoor games, but there certainly is plenty of fun to be had inside. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views. Margaret and Evan were so easy to work with. They responded immediately to every question or concern we had. Winter Park is a beautiful place to visit and I would definitely recommend staying at Trout Creek Lodge.

We loved our stay here- the house is roomy, king beds in all the bedrooms except the bunk, beautiful setting, tons to do, great gathering space for our family of 17. We are ages 7 months to 65! Everyone was comfortable! I appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was- spices, two coffee makers, tons of dishes and pots and pans. Coffee filters, paper towel- we have rented a number of vacation homes and I appreciate that they actually provide enough necessities for the length of stay and number of people. I would rent this home again in a second!

The property and property management were great. Many amenities were provided such as extra toilet paper, dish and clothes soap, etc. LOVED the area and the fact that we could sled down the driveway. We got to see 2 Moose right in front of house. The management service was timely in response but bathroom shower faucet issue was not fixed even though maintenance said they fixed it. The very big negative for us was that the TV’s were very old. They had limited channels with no way to stream or even do close captioning. Very disappointed in a home of this price range to have the antique set up when it doesn’t cost much to provide smart TV’s for a family moving night. The temps got very low so we were stuck inside watching commercials on the Disney or Animal planet channel.

We had the best Christmas staying at this house. The house was clean and spacious. A lot of activities for all of our family to enjoy. The team was friendly and quick with communication. The hot tub was amazing as it was snowing out. Would highly recommend staying here. The location was also very convenient.

The property was beautiful, there was enough room to accommodate everyone, seniors through infants. The teens loved the game rooms and were entertained when they weren’t out and about. Great location as well. Check in/out was the easiest I’ve had with any property I’ve rented. We were allowed early access which made travel with the babies so much easier. Trout Creek Lodge house was absolutely amazing. There was more than enough room for all 17 of us to be together yet have plenty of space. The kids had so much fun with all the games and room in the lower level and the adults had their own game room with shuffle board and other games in the loft. There was a perfect small sledding hill on the side of the house and more than enough sleds in the garage. The boot drying system in the garage was also an unexpected plus! We couldn’t believe how many “starter” items came with the house. More than enough toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, detergent, and even coffee, tea, and more. We have stayed in many rentals and this house came with more amenities and items than any other place we stayed. The checkin and out process was simple and the Winter Park Lodging Company was great. We would 100% recommend this house to anyone.

Our group really enjoyed our stay! The cabin spacious, clean and in a great location. There's plenty of stuff do at the property, including gaming tables, board games, even a climbing wall/slide for the little ones. The hosts were very accomodating and had excellent communcation. Perfect venue for our family of 18 with 8 of those being under 12. Lots of room, very homey, king size beds for adults, plenty of bathrooms, well equipped with fans and appliances and really anything we needed. Hot tub was clean. Had a great stay here. There was a small issue with the check-in document not presenting itself, but they communicated quickly, and we were able to get in the house without much issue. The home was clean. Fans were provided in the rooms that did not have much ventilation. Plenty of kitchen appliances. My only wish is that the labels on the oven were more legible.

We had a family reunion. It was 18 people and the place was great. The kids were happy in the entertainment room, sometimes we forgot that we had kids, haha. The kitchen is amazing and it has everything you need to prepare any meal. The rooms have a lot or space and the bathrooms clean.

This was the best VRBO I’ve stayed at. Managers were great, the place was well stocked; not only the basics but thoughtful touches like tons of blankets for lounging/movies and plenty of towels for the hot tub. It was clean and can accommodate a significant portion of humanity. It took our kids a couple days to remember how to get to their rooms because it was so spacious. Very clean too! If I was to come back to Winter Park with a large group I wouldn’t bother looking anywhere else. Wonderful stay and love Winter Park!

We had a wonderful stay at the Trout Creek Lodge. This was the perfect house for a large family reunion and fit a family of 15 perfectly. The configuration was ideal for 5 adult couples and 6 children of varying ages (the bunk room was a big hit). So many different living spaces gave us plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect! Quiet and centrally located. We had asked ahead of time if there were any baby items (pack and play and/or high chair) and were told there wasn't. A lot of planning went into securing these items ahead of time, so it was disappointing to show up to the house to find out that these items did in fact exist already. Good news for the next family with an infant! We would recommend this house to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

The property is a gem. It provided a perfect base for our family age 1-71. We were surrounded by beauty in all activities. We participated in rafting, off roading above the tree line, river rafting, and hiking on the trails that were adjacent to the house. We even had a moose sleep in the yard!

Our family had an amazing time at Trout Creek Lodge! The big, well-stocked kitchen and large dining area made family dinners fun and easy. The bedroom configuration provided ample space for our large group to sleep comfortably. The basement games, play area, and hot tub were big hits after a day on the slopes. We also made great use of the Lift shuttle stop just two houses away. Wonderful customer service, too! Would happily stay here again and again.

Family reunion - seven kids 2-10. 12 adults. 3 suites were perfect with kids bunks in with kings and attached baths. Amazing game room and kids play area. Great room with giant kitchen and seating for all. Two frigs and two ovens. Every thing you could ever want for preparing meals. Hot tub wonderful. Trail outside the door for hike and also short walk to town. Beautiful views.

Excellent place for large groups, bachelor parties, family reunions, multiple families, etc. Clean, tons of bedrooms, lots of extra beds, lots of bathrooms. 2 Kitchens, hot tubs, great game room. Expensive, but it's worth the price and came as advertised. Good communication from the host/property management company. Excellent location on the mountain, we actually walked into town and it only took 25 minutes on foot to restaurants, bars, breakfast, lunch. We had zero issues and are pleased that we chose this rental for our event.

The house was fabulous. It had everything you could ever imagine needing. The 2 kitchens were stocked with everything needed to feed 30 people. The bed/room lay out was perfect. We also enjoyed the game room. I would highly recommend this property.

it was a great property, plenty of room, nice bedrooms and bathrooms. it was not great for people with walking disabilities as it is a steep flight of steps downstairs and no good access to backyard. had a great time the property is lovely.

While this home has spectacular views, being built on a hill does make the back yard less inviting. Winter Park Lodging Company has over 120 properties to choose from. We will find a better fit for you on your next visit.

What a beautiful place! It’s definitely big enough for your group... beautiful outside and spacious inside. The dining table seats about 14-16 comfortably, but there is much more usable seating area around it. The bedrooms are nice and clean, and the provided items are great. With a short distance to the Winter Park village, this is also a great group stay location for a ski trip in the winter (if only we weren’t put in quarantine during our stay...). It’s a few hours from RMNP, but there are still great summer hiking/camping spots nearby in Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests. The staff is wonderful and friendly, available via text message, email, or phone during the day. Responses are very quick.

We were all a little surprised there was no air conditioning, but we adjusted and except for the noise of all the fans running, sleeping was not a big problem. The house was more than adequate and the location suited all our needs. Unfortunately I suffered from altitude sickness and several others had headaches while there and after returning to their homes. Of course, the illnesses had nothing to do with the house - just the altitude.

Manager Comment: With the cool mountain air, none of our properties have AC. We open up the windows at night and close the blinds on the sunny side during the day to balance the temps. Sorry to hear about the altitude sickness. Before your next visit, start drinking lots of water a few days in advance. That seems to help combat the symptoms most of the time.

Everything about our stay with Winter Park Lodging Company was excellent. As soon as we booked the property, the customer service team was in touch and kept that up throughout our entire stay. They made sure we had everything we needed when we checked in and called to make sure we had a great time after we checked out. The house itself was fantastic and perfect for our crew, which included quite a few kids. There were two completely stocked kitchens; plenty of beds and bathrooms; board games; blankets; activities like pool, air hockey, foosball, etc. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy all Winter Park has to offer. It's close to a bus stop but also just a short, easy drive to either of the main ski resorts. The only negative was that one of the bedrooms did not have a door so the people in that room didn't have any privacy. There were six other bedrooms (with doors) and bunk beds in the loft space so it wasn't an issue for our group but would have been good to know ahead of time. I highly recommend the Trout Creek Lodge and Winter Park Lodging Company to anyone! We can't wait to come back next year!

Fabulous home in Winter Park with LOTS of bedrooms & space. We enjoyed a week in August with our family (3 married children & 6 grands) plenty of bed space for everyone (grands age 2-5), and a lovely deck (needs a little maintenance) out back where we could all gather. No a/c, but keeping the doors open, fans on & draperies closed, we were just fine. Temps at night were in the 50s, daytime mid 70 & it was great. The Winter Park Lodging folks were very responsive to any questions or needs we had. I would absolutely recommend this home for rental.

Twenty-Eight of us were at Trout Creek lodge for the weekend to celebrate our 25th high school reunion and the entire experience was amazing. Simply the best, better than all the rest. Ample parking space in the driveway for the 10 plus vehicles we arrived in, and the easy self-check-in and check-out (keypad code) made the logistics of arrival and departure hassle free. Every information was available at a tip of a finger accessible via an app on a smartphone. How remarkable. The amenities were awesome and generous: comfortable beds (and couches and bean bags for those who did not make it to beds), sufficient sundries in kitchen and bathrooms, and enough bathrooms for a big group that needed it at all odd hours. 80-inch monitor in both the living rooms enriched our stay with pre- hooked cables to watch sporting events. Two full kitchens with all the state of the art pre-stocked silverware and every imaginable item you needed was at your disposal. The hot tub outside was a luxury that we felt pampered. The public spaces are designed beautifully, and there is a flow to the place that is very conducive to a big gathering. You could all get together for an impromptu karaoke in the basement or swap old stories and reminisce till the sun came up through the living room windows. Or break into small groups around the shuffleboard, pool table, back-porch or barbecue. The sporting amenities with games like fuss ball, air hockey, pool table, kids climbing wall, slide, X-box 360, Play Station added icing to the cake. The downside to the open living space was that sound carried very easily to all rooms, but it was more of an amusement than a nuisance Advertised to its 100% accuracy of “PLAY HARD, REST EASY”. The location too, contributed to the richness of our experience. Winter Park is beautiful and the view was framed perfectly by picture windows and wrap-around porch. Lovely hiking right from the doorsteps, and less than an hour’s drive to Rocky Mountain National Park or very pretty Georgetown. Above all, the customer service topped the chart. Kudos and “Hats off” to Ms. Jill for going above and beyond in making sure all our questions were answered and responded to instantly. Very responsive, instant communication. Emailing the management (Guest Experience Team) felt like we were texting with to the minute responses. How incredible. Guest Experience Team members checked in on us

This home is incredible! 2 full kitchens which was awesome so we could just move prep stations for each meal. Worked well for our large group of 26 folks. Very families friendly layout for all. Kids could stay incredibly busy downstairs with all the game tables and hang out area. Superb location to easily access all of Winter Park and we even drove up to Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park....only like a 50 min drive. Thanks for hosting us!

We had a group of 17 adults stay in this beautiful mountain home for a weekend work retreat. It was very clean and comfortable, lots of amenities, truly 5 star! Close to outdoor activities and downtown Winter Park yet still quiet and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for retreat! We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others and will definitely keep it in mind for future work retreats.

The kitchen was well stocked with utensils for both cooking and eating for a large group, plenty of plates, bowls, cups, etc. The house was spacious enough to hold a large group without ever feeling cramped. The large beautiful dining table and the bar off of the kitchen with bar stools was especially wonderful for everyone to spread around and eat together and still feel like they were all together for the meals. The huge deck was a hit for hanging out, and everyone just loved the beautiful view and the quiet neighborhood. We had an absolute blast and everyone that stayed is already talking about booking the lodge themselves for future events and get-togethers. This was the perfect lodge for a Winter Park getaway!! Trout creek lodge was a wonderful place for our family reunion! It accommodated all our families with kids of all ages very well, and the play area downstairs was great for all ages! It would be helpful to have a more specific list of what is in the kitchen (it had several crockpots, griddles, etc...) so we wouldn't have had to bring as much. It also would be helpful if the email on things to do came earlier, and if there was more info on things to do and group discounts, the advertised prices of things were too high for a group and it was hard to find any group discounts.

We have a family of 17 and everyone loved the house! The grandkids loved the basement and that's where they played when not on the slopes. The adults loved having the main floor and were not disturbed with the kids playing in the basement. We only wish we had more time there and are considering very seriously coming back there next year! We highly recommend it! MANAGER'S COMMENTS...Loved hearing this great feedback. We have a family of 17 and everyone loved the house! The grandkids loved the basement and that's where they played when not on the slopes. This cabin was perfect for the 29 guests that we had stay together for our wedding in Winter Park, Colorado. It was very close to drive (or catch the Lift shuttle) to the Winter Park Ski Resort and it had a lot of restaurants and a grocery store nearby. We had our wedding about 5 minutes away in the Arapahoe National Forest and it was so easy to get there from this home. We had a lot of people in the house but our guests never felt overwhelmed or cramped because of how much space this home has. I would highly recommend this for any large gathering whether it is a wedding or family reunion. Also, the Winter Park Lodging Company staff was so quick to respond and help us with any questions I had before and during our stay. They are amazing. We hope to rent this particular home again in the future!

Right from the beginning we had a pleasant and a warm stay. Property on a whole is large and comfortable to accommodate 25 people. A quiet environment with serene ambiance. Must stay minimum 3 days to enjoy this and surroundings. PS: updated technologies with many in-built app features.

Our second stay was wonderful as the first one. I would like to point out a hazard involving the stools around the kitchen bar. We had small children that could've been hurt . Your prompt attention to this matter is of essence. Thank you . Property is awesome , comfortable , spacious , worth its value . Response from management is also wonderful and friendly. Would stirringly recommend property.

We used Trout Creek Lodge for a 25-person retreat. Everything about the property was perfect! Plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans for cooking, comfortable beds, showers, hot water, all the basics were great. On top of that it's a stunningly beautiful property with lots of trails for exploring right out the front door. Having all the game tables on hand was terrific, too, as well as the convenience of Winter Park's main drag being just minutes away. I'd happily recommend this property to my friends. Thanks!

The downstairs was a great space for them to run around and have fun! And the main floor living space was ample for all of the adults. Even mealtime was very manageable with this group. Facility was fabulous and met our needs for 30 people perfectly. There is no air conditioning and it was hot when we visited so the upstairs space (lack of ventilation) became too hot to use but outside of that it was Very Enjoyable. Probably need bigger, more powerful fans for upstairs or better yet some Windows. Kitchen was well stocked-- bedrooms very comfortable- staff quickly accommodating - basement entertainment area very enjoyable for everyone. Our visit was memorable, exceptional and most enjoyable!!!! Thanks!!!!

Trout Creek Lodge served as the perfect location for our company meeting. The basement living room was great for our meeting room with the large sofa and TV. Most of our meals were eaten in the lodge and the 2 kitchens served us well. I would highly recommend Trout Creek Lodge for family or business outings.

My fiancé (now husband) and I decided to elope to CO this January. We assembled ~26 of our family and friends at Trout Creek Lodge for a long weekend of fun. The house was much more spacious and lovely than the photos conveyed. It never felt like we had that many people in the house and everyone commented on what an amazing place it was! There were areas for everyone to relax, play, sleep, etc. We ended up packing down a small pit in the snow behind the house and got married amongst the trees, with our loved ones huddled together on the basement porch. It was perfect! The WPL staff was super helpful prior to arrival with organizing the ski fittings/rentals/lessons and stopping by the house when we were there to go over the amenities. No complaints whatsoever; just happy, wonderful memories at the Trout Creek Lodge!

The house was very well appointed, beds were comfortable and the spaces meant we could have a great time while not all in the same room. Especially nice is the location, with a large open space just half a block away, offering amazing views, trails for snow shoeing and cross country skiing and an easy trail into town. The bus is a long ride to the ski area, but the stop at the end of the street can't be beat. There is even a resident moose in the neighborhood! The renting company was very responsive when we needed new pool cues or had a question. No complaints or problems. We'd rent this home again for our large family.

We stayed with 13 of us, and enjoyed the many bedrooms and private bathrooms. The main kitchen, dining and living room were ideal for our meal times and evening gatherings. Great walking trails with beautiful sunset views just minutes from the cabin.

This home is all I hoped it would be! We had such a special trip with lots of great memories including a family playoff round at the air hockey table, a rival NFL football game evening in front of the giant TV, and of course lots of bike rides and hikes straight from the home. It's decorated beautifully, well-stocked, and nothing was left to be desired. We want to come back again next year. Thank you to Winter Park Lodging Company for your hospitality. The huge guest gift you had waiting for us, the calls, and the personalized service when we needed something was unmatched.

Our family of 18 stayed at the Trout Creek Lodge home over the Labor Day weekend. It is a nicely furnished home with more beds than we needed! There's a big loft area and also a big walk-out basement area that both provide plenty of activities for 'tweens, teens and adults. There were more than enough towels, and the kitchen had every appliance and utensil necessary.

My family of 28 had a wonderful retreat at Trout Creek Lodge. The place was even larger than it looked in the photos. We prepared and ate all our meals at the lodge. It was great to have two well stocked kitchens. We even found candles for a birthday cake! We also loved the fact that there was so much seating at the bar and dining table so we could all eat together. We had coffee out on the deck in the mornings. There were only six chairs out there but we planned ahead and brought some folding chairs from home for our large group. It was a wonderful way to start the day. We took advantage of all the game tables and hot tub. Even the washer and dryer were put to good use. The youngest of the group absolutely loved the slide in the basement! Everyone enjoyed long walks on the trail behind the house. I have a some beautiful photos of the landscape I'd like to share with you to post on your website. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the entire place smelled fresh/new. The only negative comment I could make is that some of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty. They were probably put away by previous guests. We had a fabulous time. We may make this an annual trip.

Trout Creek lodge was as beautiful and large as the website had indicated (not always the case). The kitchens were very well set up with all that you would need to cook for a larger group (3 ovens total for example). The nearby trails are great for evening walks and sunset views. It was the perfect setting for a family vacation.

The only thing that surprised us about Trout Creek Lodge was that it was even bigger in real life than we thought it would be from the pictures! Absolutely beautiful! Everything was in excellent condition, very clean, the staff at Winter Park lodging company were extremely friendly and attentive with any questions we had. Plenty of room for all of us to get together in one spot in the downstairs family room, and lots of room for all of us to spread out all over the house, so we didn't feel like we were right on top of each other for 4 days! We cooked all of our meals at the house, and the kitchens had everything we needed, and even extra things we didn't anticipate having,like 2 pancake griddles. The decor was beautiful, very high-end, nothing cheap or flimsy. My sister-in-law took pictures of everything in the house, she loved it so much! We discovered the house does not have air conditioning, so it got a tad warm upstairs during our June stay. The house had lots of fans, however, so we left the windows open at night to let the cool mountain air in and ran fans during the day, and it stayed cool enough. The downstairs was plenty cool both day and night. We took a hike on the Discovery Trail, across from Winter Park Lodge. Beautiful, easy trail for the kids. We also rode on the free lift right there at Winter Park to a cute shopping area with lots of outdoor games--giant Scrabble, giant checkers, giant chess, etc. The kids all got a kick out of that! We walked down to Wolf Park right there in the neighborhood, had a family Olympics with silly events on the grassy lawn, played on the playground, and we took family pictures in the backyard of the house, beautiful scenery! Trout Creek Lodge was a perfect venue to have all of us together! Thanks for a fantastic stay! everyone said, "Are we coming here again next time?"

My family stayed here for our annual family reunion and the home was just lovely. It had everything we needed. I have 4 adult children, all with families of their own and little ones. Everyone was able to have their own space with plenty of room to come together. The children loved the climbing wall and other games. This was a family reunion we'll all cherish.

This house was incredible! Loved the shuffleboard table upstairs. We had an issue with the heat during our first day but the management company was quick in fixing it for us. We will be back again with more of the family!

We've stayed at other homes in Winter Park in the past and this house exceeded our expectations. Very clean and neat. Loved the self check in, you just get a code to use and go straight to the property. The lodging company was very helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed.
