Slopeside Retreat

Our accommodations were perfect for our group of 12! There was plenty of seating and a well stocked kitchen with all appliances/tools needed for cooking in. We were all able to sleep comfortably and rest when we weren’t skiing at winter park! Our location was close to the shuttle making it very convenient to get to and from the mountain. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location to slopes. Bus system is a little cumbersome if you want to go to dinner in town, so I recommend a car. Management company was responsive when needed and the beds were very comfortable.

AMAZING LOCATION! Walkable to the resort and 10 feet from the bus stop if you prefer not to walk. Super clean and had everything you could imagine to make your stay unforgettable. This home was exactly as advertised - perfectly located right near Winter Park resort with plenty of room for many guests. We had ~10 people, and it fit us easily. If you add more people to the bunk beds in the loft, you can fit 15+ (albeit, snuggly).
Getting to and from the mountain was as easy as we could have asked - the home is ~20 feet from a bus stop where it is a ~3-5 minute ride right to the gondola, or you can walk for ~10-15 minutes (in ski boots, faster normally).
Everything was spotless, the hot tub was well maintained, and we were provided anything we may need (towels, shower soap, laundry detergent, etc.).
Finally, I was blown away by how professional the hosts seemed - communication was clear, everything was perfectly set up for us, and they even gave us discount codes to local attractions (e.g., ski rentals).
10/10 across the board - Would definitely come back next time I'm in WP!

Great space for 3 families vacationing together! The kids enjoyed the loft area with the bunk beds and pool table. The kitchen the had basics to cook meals, and the location was great with the shuttle stop right outside the door. Communication was great with the property manager, and they promptly answered any questions we had. Would stay here again with a large group!

This property was amazing for our group! We had 3 couples and 6 littlier kids plus one older teen so the loft area was just right. The size of the home is quite large and everyone had ample space to enjoy everything. Great mountain views and so close to the resort. We all loved the super easy shuttle to get to/from. Our hosts were excellent and very easy to text if we needed anything/had questions. We would love to return!

Such a beautiful place to stay! Bunk beds comfortably fit adults and had fantastic views of the slopes. Lodging company was very responsive and friendly. The bar next door ( 10 second walk from the front door !! )A Frame Club had incredible cocktails! A 10minute walk to the gondola /lifts at the village or you can take the Lift which stops right next to the house if you have ski gear. Overall HIGHLY recommend and hope to come back next year!

Could not have been happier with this Airbnb. It was perfect for my families’s annual ski trip. The place was spacious and there was lots of sleeping areas. Great for large family gatherings. Plenty of space to be comfortable and enjoy meals together. The trail nearby with the art walk was really cool and we saw a moose which was the highlight of our trip! The host was very responsive and helped us out when chalk for the pool table was missing. Slopeside Retreat was a great place, as advertised. We found the downside though. We had a large group of 16. That meant 10 people had to sleep upstairs. Since that is really a loft space, all the window exposure makes it impossible to sleep once the sun is up. And, the noise from downstairs is impossible to avoid. The house is very accommodating otherwise. The sun issue upstairs could be mitigated with some motorized blinds/shutters, solving the morning sleep issues.

We had a great time during our stay. The listing was accurate, and the property managers were very quick to reply. We really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. There is also a bar/restaurant across the street which is an added bonus. You can walk to the main resort area of Winter Park as well.

Wonderful accommodation. Friendly and responsive host. Ideal for large families with kids.
There is a bus stop right outside the place. Buses ran pretty late at night as well.
There is also an old timey restaurant across the street.

This was a wonderful place to stay in, we had a huge group and it was perfect fit for it. Lots of beds & space. Restaurant/Saloon right across the street as well as ski rental shop. About 10min walk from the mountain or bus stop that was 1min walk from Airbnb. The host said that we could request shuttle services if we called although when we tried they said they didn’t accommodate that but we used the scheduled shuttles just fine. I would highly recommend this place & definitely stay in it again.

The Lift Shuttle in Winter Park was doing on demand rides from 6 pm to 12 am, but during the day it is not on demand, and in most locations it has pick up times every half hour. We are sorry about the confusion there!

We had a great stay! The space comfortably accommodated 4 families and had plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy upstairs with the TV and pool table. The adults enjoyed a fun game night with the games provided to use. The space was big enough that we could be all together or be spread out and enjoy our stay.

Loved the house. The common space was very welcoming and the kitchen fully functional. Master bedroom suite was huge, and bunk loft super fun for kids to hang out with a pool table and bean bags. We loved our stay.. Only issue was the lack of garbage can space. Otherwise, wonderful!

Great location although there is lots of construction in the area. We had 12 guest staying including 4 adults and 8 children! It was the perfect amount of space!

Attention to communication started right after I placed the booking. I got phone calls and texts asking if I had any questions or needed anything. The VRBO was very comfortable and perfect for our large family. Even when there were very minor issues, the winter park lodging was so quick to attend it to the problem. They were fantastic!

House was just as described. Perfect for our group of 12 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space, and the hot tub was great after a day of skiing. Hosts were very responsive with questions and requests.
Also, if you are going skiiing, make friends with the shuttle drivers ($$), it will help a lot with getting to and from the mountain.

This was the first year that we stayed at Slopeside Retreat and it was great! We especially enjoyed the location near the resort, but secluded enough to escape to a quiter place. The upper loft with pool table and large TV provided a great area for the kids to get together and for all of us to just spend time together. Wonderful property, would definitely stay again.

This was the first year that we stayed at Slopeside Retreat and it was great! We especially enjoyed the location near the resort, but secluded enough to escape to a quieter place. The upper loft with pool table and large TV provided a great area for the kids to get together and for all of us to just spend time together. Wonderful property, would definitely stay again.

House was beautiful, clean and cozy. Our whole family slept comfortable and could enjoy a lil private time when needed. After sledding/snowmobiling all day the hot tub was a soothing treat to be able to soak in . We will be back next year for sure!

Thanksgiving 2020 could have been a COVID disaster, but the team at Winter Park Lodging Company was able to set up Slopeside Retreat so our two families could fit in with enough space to enjoy company, play games, and watch movies and sports. The state of the art kitchen was the focal point for all 30 meals. The kids loved the bunk room with the pool table and large screen TV. It snowed 25 inches the day we arrived. If the ski hill was open it would have been perfect, but we had to drive to Keystone and A-Basin. We will definitely come back and also visit their sister company spaces in Steamboat. A 10 plus.

Wow, oh, wow! Do not hesitate to book - this is perfect for large groups. My friends and I rented Slopeside Retreat Jan 2020 MLK Weekend, and we LOVED it. We usually travel to various ski destinations every year with 12+ people, and this townhouse was one of the best we've rented based on furnishings, size, and location to the ski resort. The large living room and kitchen made it very easy for us to gather in one place with enough seating for everyone. The hot tub on the patio was a plus; however, it probably only fits four people comfortably. Please note the third floor is an open loft space with three bunk beds (6 singles) and a large king-size bed. You will be able to hear all the noise from the downstairs living room. It wasn't an issue for our group since we were aware and it was more important for us to stay in one house. Just bring earplugs if you have any concerns. Lastly, everyone I interacted with at Winter Park Lodging Company was super helpful, friendly, and very responsive to any question and follow-ups. If we decide to come back to Winter Park, we will stay here again.

We have stayed in many high-end temporary rental homes. Without a doubt this home was the CLEANEST we have ever encountered and, by far, had the best variety and amount of "starter supplies" of any of them. All those things that are aggravating when you have to remember to buy more at the grocery store: paper towels, toilet paper, olive oil, spices, pads, pens, pencils, kleenex, games, cards, etc. All those were present in copious quantities, as well as every imaginable pot / pan and kitchen utensil. Thanks to the owners / agents for making our stay so pleasant, comfortable, and enjoyable.

The place was beautiful! Right next to the bus station which was perfect for our group. Very clean! The only downside was that it says sleeps 17 and two of those spots are on an air mattress together.

A terrific anniversary celebration spot. We lived it up in the home and location was perfect for getting onto bike trail and into Winter Park and all the neat spot over there. Rode horses, rode bikes, soaked and hiked a bunch....all in all just what we had hoped. Thank you!

Super family fun spot. Kids loved having their bunk area and playing PINBALL! Adults played too on the pool table. Just a heads up that the entire top level of the town home is open/loft style which was great for us. All of our older and younger kids fit in there perfectly. Grandparents loved being able to stay on the main level the whole time. We would certainly do it again!
