Awesome location with an unbeatable view of the mountain. Shuttle picks up right behind the house every 20 minutes so getting to the lifts is very convenient. Place was spacious, beautiful, and well stocked. Hosts responded to questions immediately and offered great tips. Couldn’t recommend this place more for a ski weekend!

We had a fantastic time. When we told the kids that we were going out for dinner they were sad to have to leave the house because there was so much to do just at the house! The adults had an amazing time as well relaxing in the hot tub after long days of skiing and tubing. Would highly recommend this house as it was perfect for our group of 14!

Hot tub was a big hit. Ample dishes, silverware,glasses so we did not have to keep washing things to eat our next meal. Appliance were top of the line!! The view from the living room of the mountain was breathtaking! Jill your team was the best. All property managers are not created equal. You guys are the tops!! Wonderful experience.

Held a family reunion for 12 adults. The space allowed each family to have a private sleeping area and plenty of bathrooms (caveat, one family took the bunk room). There were two great gathering spaces, one on the main floor by kitchen and a great family room. Allowed us to watch two NFL games at the same time based on fan support. Plenty of parking and a stunning view of the slopes of Winter Park. We had a great time and would recommend this property.

We had a great time. Enjoyed two family gathering rooms plus pool table/ping pong.
Only downside was fridge. Was not cooling initially, then it did, but then the last night temp started to raise again. Get that fixed and it's perfect!!

This property offered everything we needed! Five families were able to all stay together in this one location. Each bedroom had its own bathroom plus there was an extra guest bath on the main level, which was really nice. The downstairs game area was a great place to catchup over a game of pool or ping pong. The kiddos loved the bunk room. The rooms (and house location) were quiet and comfortable. The location was great for walking the pup every day as well. And let's not forget the breakfasts and dinners out on the patio with the great views!! This location is close to the Winter Park Resort. I highly recommend going on the Gondola when it is free (there is a happy hour on the top of the mountain with great views, drinks, and live music). Every morning, a group of us ran the Fraser River Trail from Winter Park to Fraser and back. It was peaceful, level and soft. Both Winter Park and Fraser offer plenty of small shops and restaurants to enjoy. We also stocked up on groceries to have our own breakfast and dinner at the home's spacious kitchen. Highly recommend!

This property is fantastic! Loved that we could bring our old, faithful dog too. Everyone enjoyed all the fun activities at the resort just across the road. Biking on our ebikes was fantastic and heading in/out of downtown very simple to do! Super helpful hosts and a perfectly stocked, comfortable home. Stay here!

We had 6 adults and 5 kids (12-16 years) and this house fit us perfectly! Plenty of space to spread out and all the games and TVs and lounge areas met everyone’s needs. The location of the house was also perfectly situated between the slopes and the little town of Winter Park. Quick drop off or the bus stop is literally right around the corner from the house. The kitchen was expertly stocked!! All the cooking utensils you could need and the extra touch of spices and other essentials you typically love to see and not have to buy given you only need them temporarily and won’t take them home (ie coffee filters, trash bags, laundry detergent, etc). The Winter Park Lodging Company was also extremely responsive both before and during our reservation. Oh and easy checkout To Do list!! There is nothing more aggravating than having a whole list of “cleaning” expectations when you are paying a cleaning charge. Not the case here. Just start the dishwasher and get the trash into the outdoor bins. Easy!! Thank you for our wonderful experience!

The house was just perfect. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms and bathrooms were a great size. Comfortable and roomy! There was plenty of space for all of us to relax after skiing in the living/family rooms. It was a huge bonus to have the downstairs family/pool room! Winter Park Lodging was also fantastic. Their response time for any questions was excellent. Their communication during our stay was respectful and helpful. I can’t wait to return to Winter Park and would 100% stay at Lakota Reserve! It is a fabulous home!

Excellent extended family home! Fantastic bunk room for kids and then they have their own level. Billiards table was excellent! With 16 of us there was a fair bit of laundry and we wish we had a larger washer/dryer but we all took turns. Overall an amazing house and loved the proximity and shuttle options to get everyone over to the resort.

We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful house and would book it again. The view is outstanding, the kitchen worked so well when preparing food and serving food from the countertop. I heard the beds were all comfortable, kids did enjoy the bunk room. I heard no criticism from our group about anything in the house. Great design. For some improvements, we would suggest: A better dish washer, the one there does not dry the dishes and we had to towel dry several dishes and glassware - two dishwashers would be great for large groups like ours. One window on the wall in the dining room would not fully close. (Window closest to the porch) The grill needs to be cleaned. We only used it twice and had a serious grease fire one evening A special place inside for recycling would be helpful - maybe in the laundry room. We really enjoyed our week and the gift basket was a welcome surprise when we arrived. Thank you!

We stayed (seven 28-30 year olds and two seniors :)) at Lakota Reserve and it was simply terrific. As stated numerous times, the view is stunning. The home is warm and inviting, and more than enough room for all of us. The proximity to the mountain doesn't get much easier; a shuttle right out the front door or a very quick, easy drive to the base of the mountain. The home is well equipped, we did not need anything that wasn't already there. The hot tub was always the first destination after a long day of skiing. The dining room table is large enough to enjoy dinner and games afterwards. The fire place is a switch away for warmth and ambience. The staff at Winter Park Resort are friendly and accommodating. They answer all your questions with kindness and patience. You know all is well when you don't need to request anything! They let us know someone was coming by to check the jacuzzi (no issues) and to see how we were doing. I would highly recommend Winter Park Lodging and definitely Lakota Reserve. Thank you!

We stay at vacation rentals several times a year, all over the US and, occasionally, internationally. The reason I say this is to outline that we have fairly extensive exposure to rental agencies of all types and Winter Park Lodging is, hands down, the best we have ever experienced! They have a friendly and responsive team who are happy to communicate with you via text, phone, or email. The text system was particularly slick. Every time we texted them a question or request, someone answered almost immediately and if a trip to the house was required, they were usually there within the hour, often sooner. We joked that it was as if someone was waiting on call at the end of the block to help us. The house was clean and very well-stocked, and the hot tub was meticulously maintained. In the 1 week that we were there, they did routine service on it two times. We were very impressed! I would definitely use them again. As a matter of fact, if I was tossed between two homes and one was managed by Winter Park Lodging and the other was not, I would go with theirs, just because they are so fantastic to work with. Lakota Reserve fit our group perfectly. From the well stocked kitchen (2 crockpots, multiple pots and pans of various sizes, outdoor grill, spacious food prep areas and a big dining table) to the comfortable bedrooms (most ensuite), a hot tub, pool table/pingpong we were set. Our family of all ages had quiet spaces and gathering areas. The base of Winter Park Resort is within walking distance (3/4 mile downhill - keep in mind you have to walk back UP!). The towns of Winter Park and Frasier are minutes away by car. We hiked, biked, and explored the area with our kids and grandkids. Winter Park Management went above and beyond and kept us informed of mtc on the hot tub and even brought ice knowing the ice maker was inop. Many thanks for making us feel welcome! Can’t wait to return!

Our extended family spent a week at Lakota Reserve in July. We had 17 family members, ranging in age from 1 to 69. This was our second stay at the house, and once again it was the perfect lodging for our clan. The home's location, floor plan and, furnishings were just what we needed. The management company was very helpful during the trip planning stages and responsive to our questions and needs. It was easy to book the Lakota Reserve. We were notified when payment was due. It was easy to check in. The management team was readily available and came quickly when we requested additional supplies. The location has a great view of the mountains and activities at Winter Park. The house is as advertised, the bedrooms easily accommodate 5 couples with separate bathrooms, and the bunk room also has its own bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with tons of lovely Crate and Barrel dinnerware and great cookware by Caphalon — very impressed with the quality of the kitchenwares. We would come again.

What an amazing home for our extended family to come together in beautiful Winter Park! We had 2 small children, 2 teens, and 10 adults - and we all had the time of our lives! Great meals for all cooked in a large kitchen with everything you would ever need! Almost all the couples had a king size bed and their own private bathroom! So much fun playing pool and ping pong and wonderful evenings in the hot tub! We played games, watched movies on nice big screen TV’s. So much room for everyone and amazing views! Definitely would want to stay right here if we make another trip back to Winter Park!

Beautiful home in a soon to be idyllic setting. I would have said the property was excellent, however right now construction noise is a major factor all day long during the week. It woke up most of the family as early as 6:30 some mornings. We were there for the spreading of our deceased parents ashes, and therefore only there during the week and thankfully gone during the day. The check in was the easiest I have ever had, and check out was easy also.  As I stated earlier, the home was gorgeous and well maintained. It was very, very clean which made me feel very comfortable. I know the property managers have no control over the construction, however I think it is important if you want a quiet, peaceful mountain setting this summer, this is not the one. The price should be discounted.

Rented this home for an extended family ski vacation. Its location affords superb views of Winter Park resort and access to the mountain. The shuttle is less than a 50 yard walk from the front door plus only about a 2 minute drive over to the parking lot and/or passenger drop off. It’s about a 5 minute drive to downtown Winter Park with a plethora of dining and shopping options. The home is beautifully furnished, clean and has a very usable and well stocked kitchen. The home has plenty of lounging space on all 3 levels. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Stayed here for family ski vacation. Location was ideal. Driving to the Resort is very close or take the shuttle that is right by the home. Head into downtown in about 5 min for all the shops and restaurants there. The home is beautifully furnished, clean and has a very usable and well stocked kitchen. The home has plenty of lounging space on all 3 levels. This was a terrific vacation rental and highly recommended!

The absolute perfect place to stay in Winter Park! This house is so comfortable, so well equipped and incredibly close to the mountain. We traveled with 7 kids, ages 6-14 and 5 adults. The bunk room slept all the boys and they had their private space. The teens girls grabbed the downstairs bedrooms so they could be close to the fun, but have a space away from the boys. The teens absolutely loved the downstairs area. They played pool, enjoyed the hot tub and watched movies. The kitchen has everything you need to feed a large group. Tons of silverware, dishes, top notch appliances, crock pot. The upstairs area is beautiful and comfortable without feeling over the top. After skiing WP, we enjoyed the fire place and the beautiful views. The rental company texted everyday during our stay to ensure we were enjoying the property. A two minute walk to the WP bus, or a 5 minute drive to the $10 pay lot. Do not wait to rent this house!!!! We will be back!

Great house with an awesome view of Winter Park Resort. Well stocked in terms of kitchen/bath and linen needs. Bedrooms are well positioned and comfortable and the large common area was great for family time. The house doesn’t have any cable (or at least we couldn’t figure it out) and we couldn’t watch the hockey game. Well maintained interior and close proximity to the bus service. You must ride the bus or drive to Winter Park.

Lakota Reserve was the perfect retreat after a long day of hiking for our friend group of 8. Perfect number of beds/baths for our group size and a fully stocked kitchen with a much-appreciated bottle of wine and snacks waiting for us when we arrived!  The home was spotless, and the fireplace and furnishings were all super cozy. In fact, our group had such good sleep at Lakota Reserve that we reached out to WPLC to find out the mattress and pillow brands!  Speaking of - we were beyond impressed with the excellent service, attention to detail, and kind staff at Winter Park Lodging Company. WPLC helped us find the perfect home for our trip and checked in on us to make sure we made it to the home safely and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.  All-in-all Lakota Reserve was an absolute gem, and we will be booking with Winter Park Lodging Co exclusively next time we find ourselves in the area!

This property is even better than it looks in the pictures. With a large group, each couple was able to have their own room and privacy. We love to cook and the kitchen came with lots of supplies and utensils. The common areas were plenty big enough, hot tub and game room provided entertainment for the entire weekend! Would strongly recommend to anyone, the cleanliness and attention to detail make this property worth every penny!

This is a stunning home, with a beautiful view! Spacious and clean, this home accommodated our large family very well. The pool table and hot tub with wonderful amenities, especially during afternoon and evening rains. The kids loved the bunk room! Ample bedding, towels and kitchen items were available and the kitchen stocked with more than what you would need to make any and all meals during your stay. Our only dissatisfier were the beds, which were not comfortable, this was unexpected for such a large, beautiful home. The house is close to Winter Park Resort and town if you need to run out. Despite being a neighborhood, it was quiet and relaxing. If you are looking for a spacious home for a large group, I would highly recommend this property, especially it they upgrade the mattresses! Winter Park Lodging provides excellent customer service as well, would highly recommend renting one of their properties!

We booked this beautiful Cabin with spectacular views to celebrate my husband's 40th Birthday. His goal was to be able to relax with family and friends (18 of us!!) and that is exactly what we did. Every room in the Cabin has it's own bathroom and the interior decor and finishings are top notch. The exterior views, patio, and hot tub just made the trip even more memorable. Winter Park is a sweet little town with lots of friendly owners in small businesses that have struggled due to Covid. We tried to give them as much business as possible and also cooked at home a couple days! The hosts for this Unit were VERY kind and responsive! My family is talking about visiting again soon!! This property was perfect in every way. This property was one of the few to have 4 king size master bedrooms and since we were 4 retired couples, it was wonderful. The hot tub as thoroughly enjoyed and the clean Weber grill was perfect for our family grillmaster. Beautiful views of the slopes and easy access to the town of Winter Park. The bar was a bonus and enjoyed! We will definitely return in the future. There is so many sleeping rooms that we did not use since having 4 masters was important to us. Highly recommend!

Incredible views. High end home that was built more solid than Ft Knox. Kitchen is great, living room has the killer view of the slopes. All bedrooms have their own bathroom except for one in the basement (but that room has a bathroom right next to it so basically all have their own bathroom). Bar area, pool table/ ping pong table and massive tv downstairs is just awesome. Did a great hike a Jim’s Creek, just a couple miles east of the house. Property company was great to work with too. Highly recommend this place!

The house was built, decorated and supplied above expectations. While in the kitchen if we needed anything from a wine bottle opener, to a child's sippy cup, we were able to find one in the cabinets. The games, books, TVs, and hot tub provided lots of entertainment, while we were at the house. We were familiar with Winter Park and kept busy with outdoor activities including hiking, alpine sliding, golfing, and bowling. The Winter Park Lodging Company was great to work with and was very responsive to the few issues that came up. We would definitely contact them again.

My 16-person extended family had an amazing time at Lakota Reserve! Notable things included the perfect wifi and cell service, massive hot tub, kid toys/books/dishes (so welcome and unexpected), ample dishes/silverware/glasses, ample dinnertime seating, and 2 indoor hangout spots. Only one bedroom does not have an attached bathroom. All the en suite rooms feel like they could be the Master suite, so don't fret if you don't get the "best" room--they are all excellent. I can't find one thing to complain about with Lakota Reserve. If you are considering outdoor play, there's not much of a yard (don't count on playing Bocce or Frisbee), so keep that in mind.

The house was perfect for six grandchildren (who loved the bunk room, pool & ping pong table, hot tub) and eight adults. It gave us easy access to many activities within about an hours drive. Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park., rafting in Kremmling, trail ride from Sombrero Stables, Georgetown Loop RR, Alpine slide at WP. We had a great time.

We absolutely loved staying at the Lakota Reserve! Not only is the house beautiful and spacious, but the views are absolutely incredible. Our group loved waking up every morning to watch the early-risers out on the ski hill. We will definitely be staying again soon!

We have used VRBO rentals all over the Western US for our family vacations and this was in the top two. We have 4 grown kids with spouses and 11 grandkids however there was plenty of space for everyone. The house is laid out perfectly with bathrooms for every bedroom and plenty of space to gather together as a family. The views of the slopes at Winter Park Ski Area were spectacular and the amenities were numerous. We had a minor problem figuring out the TV on the first night but “Al” the property management specialist was there within minutes to help us out. Al was great attending to all our questions regarding the thermostats and hot tub. All in all a great time was had by all. We are already planning our next trip back.

If you are looking for a large, excellent place to stay across from Winter Park Resort, Lakota Reserve is the place to be!!! The four King beds really make for comfortable stay for multiple family’s. The staff at Winter Park Lodging Company are also very responsive and accommodating making for a perfect place to stay!

This house was ll that is was advertised to be. We have 17 Cross Country girls and 5 adults stay for a week. It was a perfect home base for Gray's peak, Winter Park and Rocky Mountain NP. The basement easily housed 12+ girls.

We could not have been any happier with our stay at Lakota Reserve. There were 17 of us and we all had a nice warm bed and plenty of room for privacy as well as gathering together. The view from the living area, deck and hot tub was fantastic! We were able to prepare all our meals in the large, well equipped kitchen. It had everything we needed and more. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for accommodations for a large group.

The home was so clean and spacious, accommodated our whole family just perfectly. The large kitchen and two living areas were great for the kids and adults to cook and relax. Love all the little decorating details! Such a great home.

Couldn't get enough of this properties views!The huge windows looked directly at the slopes which was perfect since my wife didn't ski she could still enjoy the mountain! The kids loved the pool/ping pong table too. Overall great stay, the staff was super friendly too. All family members cant wait to come back.
