Perched at the high end of Lakota's Northwoods neighborhood with Arapaho National Forest at its back, this newly built four bedroom is designed so that every level earns its place, and the last one takes your breath away. Pull into the heated two-car garage, drop skis, boots and bikes in the generous gear storage on the entry level, and step into the private in-home elevator rather than hauling anything up a single stair. The top floor is the heart of the home: vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and windows framing Winter Park, Mary Jane, James Peak and Perry Peak all at once. A striking fireplace anchors the great room, the chef's kitchen delivers high-end appliances, quartz counters, custom cabinetry and an island seating five, and the dining table gathers eight for the kind of long dinner that ends well after dark.

Two expansive decks pull the living space outside. Take your coffee out in the morning sun, settle in with a book through the afternoon, then head to the lower deck and the private hot tub as alpenglow lights up the peaks and the stars come out over the forest.

Ready to rest easy? Four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms mean nobody's waiting their turn. A King bedroom with ensuite bath sits right off the great room on the top floor, the Primary King Suite and a second King Suite with an attached daybed occupy the mid-level, each with their own ensuite, and a custom-built bunk room handles the kiddos and then some. A dedicated den gives everyone a second TV lounge, while the loft above the great room offers a quiet perch overlooking the whole home. Every bed is dressed in hotel-style luxury linens.

Step out the back door and you're on National Forest trails. The Resort is roughly two minutes by car, downtown Winter Park and the concerts at Hideaway Park about five, and the free shuttle stop is a short walk down the road. The Lookout is a rare one, and your group will be talking about that top floor long after they've gone home!

Sleeping Arrangements: Primary King Suite & Second King Suite with a Twin daybed, King Bedroom with Twin/Twin trundle beds, and a Bunk Room with two Queen/Queen bunk beds plus four Twin singles. Sleeps up to 16 guests.
