This home was absolutely beautiful, very clean, and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay!! It was in a beautiful location not far from the town or Winter Park. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals and even had extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. This was by far one of the nicer Airbnb‘s we have ever stayed in. Winter Park Lodging Company had an Easy check-in, response time was fast, very friendly, and they even allowed us to do a late checkout! This was a beautiful home and I would highly recommend others choosing this property! It had enough space to accommodate a large group of 11 and I loved the fact that we were able to bring our puppy along! Beds were very comfortable, quiet area without a lot of traffic. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would go back!

Great house. Good location. Beds were comfortable & house was clean and in great condition. They did say construction was going on next door. We were surprised that it included Sat and Sunday. Very loud and noisy. Needed to keep windows shut and couldn’t comfortably enjoy the deck.

This house has everything you may need. Centrally located to many restaurants, walking/hiking trails and Safeway is right down the road. The beds are extremely comfortable. The temperature in the house was great. The neighborhood was very quiet. I highly recommend driving to Winter Park resort and taking the gondola up to the top. Beautiful views. We would stay here again!! Thank you!

What a beautiful property! House has everything you need. Beds are comfortable and it’s close to Safeway, restaurants and walking trails. A quick 30 minute drive to Grand Lake. Highly recommend driving to Winter Park resort and taking the gondola up to the top!

Bear Pause was an excellent home away from home. It's located in a beautiful quiet community with lots of dirt roads for walking and enjoying the lovely scenery; lots of trees; wildlife; beautiful views of the mountains and sunset. Our family loved to use the deck on the main level throughout the day. It was well covered at all points or the day and even during rain. When we arrived at the rental, it was meticulously cleaned! That made us really happy considering it is an animal friendly rental. Much appreciation to the cleaning crew for taking great care of this home and making sure it was an excellent condition when we arrived. The house is very well stocked, the check out directions were SO easy and staff did such an excellent job communicating and checking in. Thank you for the great stay. We loved the Fraser/Winter Park area so much and can't wait to come back and rent again

I love this place! A darling home with enough room for all and super clean and comfy. Great location that's quiet yet close to all the "stuff". 2 car garage is terrific to keep everything warm and snow-free. It snowed a ton so we really appreciated that! Great that the dog could come too....always sad to leave him out. The WP lodging folks were terrific and so informative/helpful. Happy to come back as soon as we can!

There were plenty of towels and starter supplies needed for the week. Any easy location to get to and from Winter Park for skiing and close to the grocery store too! As former home owners in Grand County, we wanted to return and experience all that the area has to offer post-Covid. We had 4 teenage boys with us and they were exhausted at the end of our stay! The Bear Pause house met our needs perfectly. It was clean, had a well-appointed kitchen, accommodations for all of us with ample space to spread out, was quiet for wonderful sleeping, was physically close to the main road to get to our destinations, grocery store, and had beautiful views of Byers Peak and surrounding mountains. We would highly recommend this property and Lodging company.

Absolutely loved this Airbnb. Host communicated frequently and self check in was a breeze when we arrived at 1am! Close to the highway but on the other side of a hill so felt very isolated. Heated garage was a real plus in the winter. Plenty of room and privacy for everyone. Everything was beautiful and clean with lots of supplies. Especially enjoyed the hot tub. Jets are amazing and can't beat the views. We did not want to leave. Would definitely stay again if we return to the area!

Our extended family enjoyed a very pleasant stay. We were not able to check out later but understand it was a busy time for spring break. This was a perfect-sized house for the size of our group (5 adults, 2 children, 1 dog). The location was perfect for the winter activities. The house had everything we needed. Plenty of linens, comfortable beds, and well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day outdoors. Communication with Winter Park Lodging Company was great from start to finish!

Our 3 generation family (11 of us) stayed at Bear’s Pause the last week of December, 2021. It was terrific! The house was extremely well equipped with comfortable beds, lots of towels, full kitchen, washer/dryer, etc. There was a king BR/en-suite off the main floor for the grandparents so they didn’t have to climb stairs. 3 other BR’s, one with bunks, gave everyone comfortable sleeping arrangements. Two separate living areas afforded the adults and teenagers space from each other when wanted. We had a problem with the gas grill hose but an employee of Winter Park Lodging replaced it within 30 minutes after we called. (We didn’t get his name, sorry). The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and there were plenty of chemicals to balance the ph when it got a bit off during the week. The house is a short drive to Safeway. The only negative from the skiers in the family was that it took a while to get to the ski resort but this was caused by a lot of snowstorms (yay!) and lots of skiers in the area for the holidays. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation for our family.

Great location with easy access to main arteries and quiet dirt roads. Well equipped, great appliances (I might be upgrading my own after using their stove), nice open floor plan. The hot tub was clean and towels were nearby. There was some cleaning issues that I reported but the rental team was very responsive and promptly offered to send out a cleaning crew! Great service.

This house is fantastic! Great location, close to Winter Park, the Fraser tubing hills, Granby...all the fun you want at your fingertips! The rooms are big and the beds are excellent. TVs in every room though we didn’t use them much because we were outside! Fireplace and hot tub are nice treat after a long day. All around a great value. We highly recommended!

This was my first visit with friends to the Winter Park area and I thoroughly enjoyed the full experience of the mountain, restaurants and our excellent accommodations. Our house was very nice, spacious and just a short drive to the slopes. It is beautifully decorated and furnished, with full amenities and immaculate housekeeping. The kitchen area is contemporary and open to the family room, very convenient for everyone to gather and share a meal. The hot tub on the ground floor patio offered a nice view of the mountains and was welcome relief at the end of the day! Our house was very nice, spacious and just a short drive to the slopes. It is beautifully decorated and furnished, with full amenities and immaculate housekeeping. The kitchen area is contemporary and open to the family room, very convenient for everyone to gather and share a meal. The hot tub on the ground floor patio offered a nice view of the mountains and was welcome relief at the end of the day! I would recommend Bear Pause to anyone staying in the Winter Park area and look forward to visiting there again soon!

This condo is one of the best I’ve stayed in in 20 + years of skiing in Colorado and Utah. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious. The beds are very comfortable. Likewise the common areas are large and very nicely decorated. There are lots of cable TV’s throughout. The kitchen is very well equipped. Most everything in the condo appears new. The 2 car garage and its adjacent mud room have plenty of room for your gear. It’s a 10-15 minute drive to the Winter Park Village base and the town is even closer. It’s a great place and I hope to return soon.

This is the perfect house for a family vacation. The accommodations are perfect and it’s close to the slopes and downtown Winter Park.

We had a great stay here. The property has 2 master bedrooms, another bedroom with a king bed, and a bedroom with 2 bunk beds (one with double beds, one with single). There are also basically two living rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The couch downstairs was especially comfortable. Great for watching movies. We loved the wood frames of the bunk beds. All of the decor throughout the house was great. We enjoyed the private hot tub, and also the fact that the property is a single family home. There was no neighboring wall like a townhome. It gave greater privacy. The large, heated garage was also very nice. When in the hot tub, there are no neighbors nearby. There is a road within view, but very little traffic. It would be the kind of property that we would like to own if we were buying.

Our families enjoyed staying here. Kids had a great time in their own bunk room and downstairs living area and adults could socialize upstairs around the fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed and the lodging folks were very helpful and pleasant.

We all loved staying here for an adult get together. My single sister even loved the bunk room! Some of us were a bit jealous. Those giant bean bag chairs are DOPE/COMFY! We found our new fav spot in the mountains. AND....the store's so close. All good things. Thank you!
