By William, Posted: 02/06/2020Excellent company to rent from. They take care of you. We will be using them again!
MANAGER COMMENTS: We are thrilled to read this! Many thanks for coming to stay with us and looking forward to working with you again.
By Shelley, Posted: 09/05/2019This is an absolutely wonderful home. We had several generations here attending a wedding and had so much space to gather and scatter. We had to do a lot of cooking for a bridal brunch and the kitchen, with its multiple sinks, refrigerators and tons of counter space was perfect! The home was very clean, very well-appointed and just perfect for us!
Manager Comment: Such great news that you had a wonderful time. The home does provide many areas to gather and scatter. The kitchen is a chef's dream for sure. Hope the wedding went well at B Lazy 2 Ranch. Come on back for an anniversary party!
By Ruth, Posted: 08/26/2019Our stay at Lupine Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Especially, the staff at Winter Park Lodging Company whom went out of there way to assist us prior to our arrival with every nagging question regarding the supplies in house, actual kitchen inventory, the actual taking measurements for us before our arrival. We cannot thank them all enough, Margaret, Dana, Meg and the maintenance crew, Grant, etc. Always a phone call away with any minor question or simple issue. The house itself is fabulous and very child friendly, in fact, do not bring any toys or books for your kids, as the house is fully stocked with everything a child can want or dream of. We pre-ordered an Amazon simple child gate (41 inches wide) for the top of the stairs which was helpful for our peace of mind of our grand-daughters not tumbling down the stairs and were very happy to keep it in use while we were there stairwell. There was a pack'n'play for use and a small high chair (the kind you place on a chair) and our daughters brought a portable potty seat, which came in very handy even when we went sightseeing/fishing/picnicking in the area, which we gladly donated to the house for future families. Both the inside playroom and outdoor playground area gave so many hours of pure joy to the kids and parents. The large family living room upstairs was warm comforting and had ample room for all of us to sit by the fireplace after meals, while the downstairs living room adjacent to the play room, gave the young adults a private area to hang out at night and entertain themselves or watch tv., foosball, etc. (small bar fridge/sink too) The kitchen was well stocked. But, we did need a larger coffee pot with 9 adults, as it only came with a 10 cup pot, so we bought and left another 12 cup coffee maker. We would suggest the owner possibly buying a larger size coffee pot more appropriate to the size of the house and amount of guests renting. I know I have a 20 cup party coffee maker at home and it would have been nice to have with us, rather than keep brewing coffee. No tea kettle for tea drinkers, but no issue there, we just boiled water. The 2 small dishwashers were amazing for light and heavy loads. The 2 ovens were amazing for baking and cooking for large family and the gas stove worked like a charm. Laundry room was very large and washer/dryer amazing. We actually placed the pack'n'play in there at night for baby to sleep with a visual monitor it was so roomy and away from the noise of the rest of the house. Note to Owner/Lodging Company, bath towels and even the ample amount of hot tub striped towels, could be a bit larger, they were very small, but did the trick and we did plenty of laundry. Guess we all have larger bath towels at home. Wrap around balcony with ample seating BBQ area was super nice to sit outside for drinks/coffee/meals and watch our everyday fox visitor stroll by. There are numerous trails within walking distance from the house and our young adult kids loved just hitting the trails early morning or evening without having to drive anywhere. The town of Winter Park is such a gem, everything we needed was right there in town. There is a small children/adult fishing pond with picnic shelter a few minutes away which we enjoyed. A visit to Wolf Park nearby was great for kids and kite flying, tennis, basketball. Our day trips consisted of Rocky Mountain National Park, highly recommend late afternoon visit, where we saw ample wildlife at dusk. Dress warmly if you are driving to the top Alpine Visitor area, brrrrr. We went self fly fishing on the Colorado River with our $30.00 amazon bought fly rods as tour guides wanted 1200.00, just past Hot Sulphur Springs on Highway 40 to the Paul Gilbert Day Use Area, beautiful picnic area with clean portable potties and good fishing and took a drive to Grand Lake, where we rented a 26' pontoon for 3 hrs at Trail Ridge Marina, highly recommend this Marina staff and adventure on the beautiful lake with impressive mountain views and even saw 2 Moose in the water. We even had a professional photographer @rachelerinphotography come out and take family photos with the mountain landscape and we highly recommend her if this interests you. Lastly, although we all suffered from the high altitude adjustment, being from Florida, we can't Thank you enough Winter Park Lodging Compnay and the Lupine Lodge for making our family vacation a truly memorable experience. It was everything we hoped for and more. Hope to visit again in the future. Ruth & Robert Gardana & family Miami, Florida

By Sheila, Posted: 04/18/2019We enjoyed this home for a weekend get-away! The accommodations were great and the location was fantastic!
MANAGER COMMENTS: Thank you Sheila. We'd love to host you next trip this way.
By Shelby, Posted: 04/16/2019The home and accommodations were wonderful! Only negative comment is that the master bathroom shower did not drain well.
MANAGER COMMENTS: Thanks Shelby. We have the "fellas" on getting that drain clearning properly. We hope you'll call us again whenever you are back this way to play in the mountains.
By Karen, Posted: 04/05/2019Wonderful! Loved it and hope to stay there again soon! Highly recommend to others.
MANAGER COMMENTS: Excellent! Thanks for sharing your stay with us Karen. We hope to host you again sometime.
By Christine, Posted: 03/27/2019Awesome house! Great service! We had a ball!
MANAGER COMMENTS: Terrific! Glad you enjoyed. Hope you'll come stay with us again.
By Joe, Posted: 01/25/2019This is a great property for a large group, family in our case. Large kitchen, common area, hot tub, steam showers are perfect after a day on the slopes. Also a great location with a Vasquez line “Lift” stop directly in front of the house.
MANAGER COMMENTS: Excellent! Thank you so much for letting us know Joe. We would love to host you again next time you're up this way.....big group or small!
By Angell, Posted: 12/19/2018This place is awesome! Perfect location, great for families and super roomy! Heads up that a couple of the rooms don't have TV's, after a long day on the mountain I just wanted to disconnect from everyone and get in the bed and watch a movie. There are TV's in both living areas however. The hospitality was exceptional, check in was perfect, they left a beautiful welcome gift of wine, coffee, lavender soap and lotion! It was a wonderful time for my family! Most definitely will be back!
MANAGER COMMENTS: Thank you for staying with us Angell! We hope you'll call us again the next time you come back this way.
By Avigail, Posted: 11/27/2018We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lupine Lodge. We have been renting houses for Thanksgiving weekend for a few years now, and this house surpassed all others by far. We are a large group with children ranging in age from infant to 11 years old. All the kids were enthralled with the spacious play area downstairs, which included a puppet theater, foosball table, climbing wall, art station, and many games and books. The adults were impressed with the high-quality furnishings, fittings, and decor throughout the home. It was snowing for much of our stay, so we were housebound. What a wonderful place to be stuck during a snowstorm! The kids enjoyed all the kid-friendly activities, and the adults enjoyed sitting in the beautiful living room and watching the snow fall. House was spacious enough for us to avoid cabin fever. Thank you for sharing this fantastic home!
MANAGER COMMENTS: Sounds idyllic! We are so pleased you all enjoyed the Lupine Loge with us. Glad the snow set a nice background for your holiday stay too. We'd love to host any or all of you again so please contact us when anyone is back this way.
By Stewart, Posted: 09/13/2018It was exactly what we had hoped/needed. A HUGE home where everyone could gather and enjoy being together or find places to do their own thing. Worked perfectly for our group of 13 and the kids LOVED it. Thank you.
MANAGER COMMENTS: That's so terrific to hear! We are thrilled the Lupine Lodge worked well for you and we'd love to see everyone up here again.
By Charles, Posted: 04/05/2018Unbelievable home. We all had a tremendous time hanging out together up here. It's a true kids' haven and so much space all over. Place to park 4 cars in the garage so that is tremendous. Taking the shuttle if you don't want to drive to the Resort was a breeze. The lodging company folks were terrific and we knew we could call them if needed.....but we never did! An unforgettable stay in an exceptional property. We'll be telling all!
MANAGER COMMENTS: Excellent! So thrilled to hear everyone enjoyed being over there. The Lupine Lodge is our most kid friendly property with all the cool extras for little folks to get playing hard. Please give us a call when you come back up to the mountains!
By Kelly, Posted: 02/13/2018LOVE LOVE LOVE this beautiful home and location. This is a 5 star property, however the mattresses and pillows in most of the bedrooms are ROCK HARD!! Several of us had issues sleeping on them and had to move to sofas and lounge chairs.
MANAGER COMMENTS: Oh dear! We will be sure to check them out and replace/switch up as needed. Our apologies that you had a tough time getting comfortable in there. Please do always reach out to us if we can ever bring by some alternatives to make you more comfortable.
By Katie, Posted: 10/27/2017Love this 5 bedroom spacious, beautiful, natural light home. It is an awesome family vacation home. Kids can be playing in the basement with the rock wall and just outside the playhouse with the playground and seesaw outside while parents can relax on the other side of the wall with their own hangout and kitchenette with Foosball and TV. Love the mountain cottage cabin feel. We will be back!
By Lisa, Posted: 10/20/2017This home is tremendous! So many special, neat features. My kids would gladly live here forever! Between the outdoor AND indoor play structures/areas...so kid friendly! There are also great adult features...steam showers, foosball, jetted tubs! Even better, the staff from Winter Park Lodging Company made everything so easy and were so proactive in getting us ready for our stay. It was hard to leave and we can't wait to come back when the snow arrives. Great time...we'll be back!
