Line Up Announced For Winter Park Jazz Festival 2015!

Winter Park’s hottest summer event has raised the bar once again with a fabulous line-up for Winter Park Jazz Festival 2015.

Headlining the event are Kenny ‘BabyFace’ Edmonds, who will take to the stage on Saturday, July 18th, and Morris Day and The Time, who will headline on Sunday, July 19th, 2015.  


Additional performances from other top acts promises a full weekend of incredible entertainment for all music lovers.

The Grand County Blues Society has pulled out all the stops again for its 12th Annual Blues From The Top Festival, this June 27th – 29th, 2014.  

Featuring more than 20 top class blues acts, from seven different countries, this event is a must for Blues fans, and a guaranteed revelation for anybody new to the scene.

Spanning over two long days & nights, the festival will keep the stage burning at Hideaway Park from 9.30am – 7pm, then move to favorite night spot Smokin’ Moes for lates shows beginning at 8pm.  

Big draw acts include Ana Popovic, Jimmy Carpenter, The Healers, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Ori Naftaly…and the list goes on!

Music in winter park coSummer Music Fests in Winter Park, CO

It is getting to be that time of year again when Winter Park is ringing with great music under the peaks of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. And this year has some great bands heading up for one of the best summer music seasons on record.

First is the Blues from the Top Festival with Mike Zitto and Samantha Fish headlining.

Next is the biggest music event of the year with the Winter Park Jazz Festival featuring Kool and the Gang… yepp, Celebrate Tonight, Come On!

And coming back for its third year is the Solshine Music Festival.  This year it is two weekends and KBCO is back sponsoring music events in Winter Park.  KBCO was a longtime sponsor of the well known American Music Festival that was held at the base of Winter Park Resort.

Cheap Trick will be headlining the Winter Park Music Festival with a free show in Hideaway Park on August 3rd. Yesss…. Mommy’s all right, Daddy’s all right, they just seem a little weird, Surrender!

The Winter Park Beer Festival returns for the forth year with 25 micro brewers on hand sampling their classic hoppy beverages and live music on August 10th.  The artists have not been announced but we will keep you posted.

This years festival will again take place under the majestic Colorado Rocky Mountains in Hideaway Park in the heart of Winter Park, CO

SnowBall Music Winter Park COSnowBall Music Festival Lineup in Winter Park, CO

A good portion of the musician lineup has been announced for the Snowball Music Festival here in Winter Park, CO.  SnowBall will be coming to Grand Park in WP from March 8-10.

This will be the biggest Winter Season music festival ever here in Winter Park and will be one of the biggest music festivals also. SnowBall is a blend of electronic, rock, jazz and dance music.  With all the snow we get in Winter Park in March this should be very fun and interesting.

The last twenty bands will be announced Wednesday, January 9.

New Years Eve at the Icebox

Celebrants will glide into the New Year in smooth style at this year’s Black Light Skating Party. Fraser Valley Sports Complex will host the event in its recently debuted “IceBox,” a naturally frozen and partially enclosed ice rink. Skaters can twirl and whirl the year away from 7-9 p.m. and can then ring in the New Year with a bang at the 9 p.m. fireworks show.

This year Winter Park has partnered with Fit5280 to bring the extreme SnowDash race to Colorado’s favorite playground on Jan. 26. At over 10,000 feet, this adventure race is an obstacle course complete with snow, music, beer and plenty of cheer. Warriors welcome!

Honoring the birthday of local legend Mary Jane, this winter festival is not just for the historians. The two-day celebration, Jan. 26-27, invites one and all to take part in live music, a snow-sculpture contest, sledding races, snowshoe treks, fireworks, a parade and much more.

Grand Park Dog Days of Winter

Feb 16 and 17 all day at grand park

Grand Park will once again go to the dogs for the annual Dog Days of Winter sled dog races, Feb. 16-17. The International Sled Dog Racing Association-sanctioned races will offer slots for sled teams of four, six and eight dogs, a three-dog junior division and one- and two-dog skijoring, where mushers are pulled by their pooches atop cross-country skis.

SnowBall 2013 Music Festival

March 8 to 10 all day at Grand Park

The sound-packed weekend of songs and snow dance is back with a vengeance, Mar. 8-10, in Grand Park! Third time promises to charm as Winter Park seizes the title of host. A jam-packed lineup with music in a variety of genres makes this winter music fest a hit for all.

Winter Park Wipe Out

April 6 all day at winter park resort and grand park

This brand new adventure challenge race will have participants pin-balling around Winter Park, completing tasks and challenges like puzzle solving, clue finding and obstacle tackling. Each completed task earns a string of beads. Those who collect enough beads are able to “buy” their way back into The Gauntlet at Grand Park where live music and beer await.
