A typical day with Powder Addiction starts with meet up in The Winter Park Village. The Powder Addiction guideswill meet you at the world headquarters at Winter Park Ski Resort orat Powder Addiction operations base at Jones Pass. They start day with some required paperwork for you to fill out, it's not that bad. Then the fun starts, they will issue a backpack containing all the required avalanche safety gear, there is some room forpersonal gear, and extra storage in the snowcat. Around 8:00am, load up the van and off for a fantastic day at Jones Pass.Once arriving at Jones Pass gear is loaded in the snowcat and everyone climbs aboard.

The day will be spent skiing or riding virgin snow at an average elevation of 11,000 feet. Most of the skiing starts one at a time for safety reasons and then becomes follow the leader after the pitch mellows. One of the guides always skis first and sets boundaries and a meeting spot. Then back to the snowcat for another round of fresh lines. Last run is usually around 2:30-3:00pm at the latest and is always up to the lead guide's discretion.
