January came to a close with the largest snowstorm of the season so far in Winter Park, with more than 3 feet falling in the last week alone.
And yep, you guessed it, the outlook is ‘white’, with another 9 inches falling over the last 48 hours, and the forecast calling for another foot throughout the day today.
Our overall season snowfall total now stands at 217 inches, with a snow base of 69 inches at Winter Park Resort, giving Winter Park the best ski season it has seen in years.
Needless to stay, in the name of professionalism, the staff at WPLCO went to great efforts to verify Winter Park Resort’s daily snow report. I you need a quick break from the daily grind, enjoy some powder courtesy of Chris Bradford & Steve Jones in this 45 second feast of fun.
