Top Blues musicians from all over the nation have come to perform in Winter Park’s beautiful backyard for nine years now! With the backdrop of the Continental Divide and fresh mountain air, the Blues Fest in Winter Park is a hit for all involved.
Festival Line-up
The 2012 Blues from the Top line-up and dates are to be determined, but it’s usually the last weekend of June. Previous performers include Tab Benoit, Walter Trout & the Radicals, Ana Popovic, Trampled Under Foot, Samantha Fish and Nick Moss & the Fliptops. And there’s always the Smokin’ Moes Pre-Fest Jam on the Friday before the festival to kick off the weekend of blues music.
Tickets
If you purchase well in advance, Festival Ticket prices are usually $15 for one day or $30 for both Saturday and Sunday. After May comes around, they are about $25/$40, and $30/$50 at the gate on festival day.
Kids ages 13 and under are free! Buy tickets online on the Grand County Blues Society Website, at the Winter Park Visitor Center (970-726-4118), Radio Shack in Fraser (970-726-9140) or the Paper Clip office supply store in Granby (970-887-9166). Buy them before May and get a deal.
Also available are special VIP tickets With the VIP package, you’ll get preferred seating, access to VIP tent & free food from various local restaurants, including The Sushi Bar, Smokin’ Moes and more. Cost is $100/day.
