Snow Cat and Backcountry Skiing in Winter Park, CO

As the locals know, some of the best skiing and snowboarding in and around Winter Park isn’t found at the top of a lift. If you want to get some fresh, the very freshest, untouched powder, head to the backcountry on a snow cat to have the Colorado snow virtually all to yourself.

Powder Addiction Snow Cat Tours

For a great backcountry skiing experience, Powder Addiction is just the resource you need for a great adventure. Powder addiction offers snow cat ski tours and guided backcountry trips (hiking/skiing without a snowcat).

Eight local powder addicts comprise the team of experienced, professional ski and snowboard guides. With a huge  love for the powder, these guys and gals have tons of experience skiing the backcountry in Winter Park and all over the world.

About the Snow Cat Ski Tour

The fun starts at about 8:00 am with the ride to the starting point on the Powder Addiction’s snow cat. They’ll debrief you with safety information and give you lots of time to ask questions on the way up. Then, the skiing and riding fun begins and continues all day long, ending at 3:30pm.

They serve lunch mid-day, which is included in the guided experience. They also include a free après ski beer at the end of the day, which you’ll enjoy while looking at the day’s photos on their big screen slideshow.
