Lodging at Winter Park Resort

Skin in ski out at winter park

If skiing is your top priority, you’ll want to begin your property search with our selection of lodging at, or near to, the Base Village at Winter Park Resort.   The closest accommodations to the ski lifts are located in the Zephyr Mountain Lodge buildings; then (just a 2 minute stroll away) you will find more ‘walk-in, walk-out’ options at Fraser Crossing & Founders Pointe, plus the larger Base Village Lofts located in the center of the Village.   If you have a larger group and are looking for a stand-alone home on the slopes, be sure to check out Mary Jane’s Retreat, our 6 bedroom home in Winter Park’s only ski-in, ski-out, gated community.

If you are looking for the best of both worlds and want quick access to the slopes during the day, but a quieter environment when darkness falls, check out our luxurious Base Camp townhome (in the Iron Horse Resort, below the corridor trail), and our properties in Old Town (1/3 mile from the slopes) & the Lakota neighborhood (directly across Highway 40 from Winter Park Resort and just a 3 minute drive away).

Zephyr Mountain Lodge
Winter Park Resort’s closest ski-in, ski-out lodging is found at Zephyr Mountain Lodge, just 50 yards from the main Zephyr chairlift.   Zephyr Mountain Lodge is not a hotel; it is a ski-in, ski-out complex comprising of 230 individually owned units (1, 2, and 3 bedrooms), divided between two buildings: Riverside and Slopeside.  Both buildings have two outdoor hot tubs, a free ski storage locker room, and a heated underground parking garage (fee required).  There is also a free gym for guests of both buildings to use, located in the Riverside building.  Zephyr Mountain Lodge was built in 2000, with a common area upgrade in 2009.   All of our Zephyr Mountain Lodge homes have a full kitchen, gas fireplace, shower & bath, and a view of either the ski slopes or Continental Divide.  The majority of our Zephyr Mountain Lodge condos have been upgraded and furnished to give each home a unique and personalized feel that you can see for yourself on our individual property pages.

Fraser Crossing & Founders Pointe
Fraser Crossing and Founders Pointe are Winter Park Resort’s newest Base Village lodging option for studios, 1 & 2 bedroom condos.  Built in 2006, these two buildings are located directly across Winter Park Drive from Zephyr Mountain Lodge, and just 200 yards from the main Zephyr chairlift; we’d estimate that to be about a 5 minute walk to the lifts, for the average skier in ski boots.  Each building has a large amenity deck on its’ 3rd floor, where guests can enjoy access to a huge outdoor hot tub, grills, an outdoor fireplace and sun deck with slope views.  All of the condos at Fraser Crossing & Founders Pointe have either a full kitchen, or kitchenette, and gas fireplaces.
