This is our second year staying at Base Camp 480. Excellent experience. Condo had all the necessities and was a wonderful experience. Short walk up the path to the slopes. We will be back next year!

The lodge was great. Open floor plan. Plenty of room for 11 of us. We never felt cramped. Large kitchen with everything you need. Great location, quick to town. Walking distance to ski run that takes you to the gondola to access the mountain. Would recommend!

Base Camp is a great family town home . Clean, comfortable and close to the Village Ski in ski out is little tough on the younger and older but doable. I believe it was built in 2006 so it has been heavily used but it was still clean. It would have been nice to know there would be workmen climbing all of the unit repairing gutters at 7:00 AM each day but after the first morning all the ladies had their shades closed. Management did a great job I would return again.

We stayed at Base Camp 480 over spring break 2022 and can't overstate the quality of our experience. The WPLC team was very hospitable, communicated well, and were very attentive to us during our stay. The home was very comfortable, clean, and had more than enough space for our family of 7. We look forward to future stays here and recommend without hesitation!

We had a great time at the property all the 8 of us (5 adults and 3 kids). The property was spacious and we didn’t have the feeling to step on each others; the various fireplaces were truly enjoyable especially with the cold weather. The location was excellent for our oldest son to go ski. The management company was super easy to work with: we didn’t have any requests in regards to the property itself but I did request a late checkout if it was possible; and since the property was not rented after our stay we were able to checkout later than 10am: the extra 90 minutes was truly appreciated since packing when you have to deal with a baby take extra time. So yes I will definitely go back if I have the opportunity

We had a great week in Winter Park! The condo was perfectly clean, location was amazing, and everything worked great. There was an issue with the hot tub which was fixed before we even knew there was a problem. We appreciate the use of the sleds, our kids spent many hours in the back playing in the snow. A few plastic cups to use in the hot tub would have been nice, but besides that, it was perfect!

WP Lodging Co staff go above and beyond! It's the small touches that matter. Things like a welcome gift, plenty of little laundry detergent boxes (so I don't have to buy it!), spices and olive oil there in the cabinet (so we don't have to buy spices or just use salt and pepper all week)! Staff were quick to respond by text to my questions. Compared to a certain V*** R***ty company that provided bad towels, no shampoo, no service for my luxury rental....this was a 5 star experience. Plus WP skiing is the same snow as V*** and everything else is about 1/2 the price. Plug for WP Ski School - try First Tracks with Kevin S. Beat the lines, get a lesson!

Beautiful condo, large enough for our family of 11, well-stocked, extremely clean. Customer service was excellent. We will definitely try to book this property again.

We went here for a small getaway before my daughter leaves for college. The property was lovely. It was stocked with all the supplies we needed. Management was very responsive from when we booked until we left. Our family booked here again for next summer just as soon as we got back home. We enjoyed the mountains, taking the gondola ride, the restaurants around the area, the drive up to the Rocky Mountains and relaxing back at the property.

Great location for skiing. Base Camp 480 is spacious. Kitchen is great- updated. Nice cookware, cabinets and of course Spacious. Great long dining table for all to sit around. Highly recommend for 4 couples or a large family with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Very pleased with Winter Park Lodging Company. Very responsive. They did more than just book the place and forget about you. They kept in touch and communicated before and throughout stay with offering assistance as needed.

We were a large group up for an extended weekend in Winter Park, and this property worked great for us. The layout and rooms are all very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with basics so we could (with a grocery store run) cook dinner every night. Highly recommend!

We have enjoyed base camp units for years with family & friends. Thanks for the extra towels & linens. The kitchen could use more beverage glasses, a can opener, new pot holders, & a pitcher. We appreciate the efficient & helpful reservations staff.

Amazing property and easy access to both Winter Park and May Jane. We had 2 families there and it was perfect!

We absolutely love staying at Winter Park Resort. The place was clean and beauty was everywhere you turn. We enjoyed walking in the village and the kids enjoyed the alpine slide and ski lifts. We went to Rocky Mountain National Park and fell in love with this park. The streams held nice trout to fish for. There was wildlife everywhere you turned and the scenery was absolutely breath taking. The drive from the resort is only 50 minutes but it goes by fast with the country you see while driving. I would highly recommend staying here. We plan on coming back next year to enjoy this area once again.

Manager Comment: How fantastic to spend time in Rocky Mtn. Natl. Park. It is a fun place to visit in every season, so come see us in the fall for elk season. It is amazing to hear them bugle.

We booked this home for our sons wedding weekend. It was the perfect setting with great views, four levels of living, walking distance to Winter Park resort and a great home for entertaining. This home had everything!!!

Our two families of 9 people enjoyed Base Camp 480 for Spring Break 2018. The location was close enough to the resort, access to the ski slopes via the green Corridor run, but yet tucked away from the village for a nice quiet retreat. The unit was in great shape. Some additional non-stick pans would be a nice add and the hot tub temp could have been slightly warmer. Other than that, the accommodations were great.

The 7 of us had a fantastic time at Base Camp 480. It was better stocked than any other place we've stayed. All the beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was exceptional. The only negative thing we can think of is the floors could have been a little cleaner and the bathrooms could have had more towels than one per person for 8 days. When we called Winter Park Resort, our requests were filled immediately. Compliments to Winter Park Resort!

MANAGER COMMENTS:  So pleased you enjoyed your stay with us at Base Camp 480.  So sorry the floors weren't up to our normal, shiny-bright standards.  We are trying to do our part to "be green".  We do hope that guests will reuse and wash towels as needed in properties that do have private washer/dryers.  If that doesn't suit your needs you can always contact us if we can bring new towels over to you.  We do hope to get you host you again up here in the mountains.

This is the second time we stayed at base camp 480 and again it was a fantastic experience. Absolutely had a blast. Our party included 8 adults and 4 children under the age of 6. We had plenty of room and will definitely be back. The house is gorgeous and provides you with everything you need. The hot tub was a very popular destination after long days on the slopes. Would highly recommend it to everyone!

A very nice comfortable unit with many extras. Was perfect for large family gathering. Winter Park Lodging company was very responsive to our needs and questions. Note: the unit is not a true ski in/ski out...path is up flights of stairs and the ski corridor to get to the stairs on your return is very challenging for some beginner/plus skiiers. Found the shuttle service to be unreliable and stops at 5:30 pm on the green line.

MANAGER COMMENTS:  We are so pleased Base Camp was a nice fit for you.  Our apologies if some property specifics were not as forthcoming as they could be.  We do advertise Base Camp 480 as "hiking trail to slopes", not "ski in/out".  The shuttle service does run until 2am each night via an on-call basis but the "normal" service does stop at 5:30 each night.  We will definitely get some more information on the property level for the shuttle.  Ridehop (app) also does a great job with providing information on schedules for The Lift shuttle.

Our family of ten had a wonderful experience at Base Camp 480 in Winter Park. The condo was so spacious, warm and inviting. The kitchen was fabulous as well. The Winter Park Lodging Company could not have been more accommodating. Their efforts to make our stay in Winter Park were top notch! Thank you for everything!

Very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with great appliances, loved the fireplaces throughout the house and was excited the ski shop and shuttle was so close.

We stayed here for 5 days, 4 nights with 6 adults, 5 children and more than enough room for everyone. This home has everything you need. I just had to run and get groceries when we wanted to cook a meal is it. I cannot think of a thing that I needed and wasn't there. Winter park lodging was wonderful to work with. They called to make sure when we arrived if there was anything we needed and everything was perfect for us. I cannot say enough about the house or this company. I would definitely recommend!!! Perfection on both in my opinion!!

The only problem was the garbage disposal that didn't work. And I would have preferred to have been steered to rent equipment at Breeze instead of Mountain Adventure Center. Breeze is just more convenient to Basecamp480.

MANAGER'S COMMENTS...Apologies for the garbage disposal.  Glad we could get it working for the rest of your stay.  While Breeze is very close to the Base Camp neighborhood, some folks like to store their skis overnight at the MAC down in the village.  Choice is up to you.

Our "home" was well decorated and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the 3 fireplaces were a plus. Loved each room had a double or king beds. The number of bathrooms were awesome. Floors appeared heated. The driveway was "heated" as well. Cons: too many stairs; hot tub did not work the last day; several lights "blew" during our stay; each room did not have a TV; had to walk to get to the "black line," and road was not lit and the road was icy. Too much trouble to ski out (had to walk a ways) and could not ski in from a green trail.

MANAGER'S COMMENTS...Thank you for your feedback.  When you book again, let's find something that has easier access to the slopes and shuttles.  While this three level townhome does sit right on the mountain, it can be challenging for beginner skiers to use the ski in/ ski out access.  If you are a blue or above skier, you'll love the easy ski in route  from the Mary Jane side of the mountain and the ski down to the Winter Park base is a quick run as well.  If you ever need lightbulbs during your stay, just give us a call.  We don't want you to be in the dark for too long.

We loved everything about our stay at Base Camp 480! The large kitchen and living area were so inviting and everyone had their own private bathroom making it perfect for a large family. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day on the slopes and the ski-in/ski-out access to Corridor Trail made it a perfect place to stay. The staff at Winter Park Lodging Company were extremely supportive, checking to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect ski vacation. Thanks again!

We really enjoyed staying at Base Camp 480 this year. As a family, we have a tradition of spending a week up in Winter Park over the 4th of July. All of the properties we have rented through Winter Park Lodging Company have been beautiful, but this one was exceptional! Everything was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. My only note would be to add a few more cooking items to the kitchen area. There was no frying pan or stock pot to use, which made cooking dinner a couple of nights a bit tricky. Otherwise I would highly recommend this property.

Great condo, it looks just like the pictures. What you see is what you get. I would recommend the shuttle over the hike to the Corridor Trail. Plenty of space for all.

We had an excellent time at Base Camp 480. Plenty of space for everyone and a wonderful kitchen. The location was excellent. We took advantage of the bus pickup/drop off point and the short hike to ski down the Corridor. Will definitely return in the near future.

Everything about the house was great! The space was as described and the location was perfect. When issues did come up, the WPLC staff were quick to help in a very friendly manner. The two air mattresses advertised were missing but they quickly dropped of new ones. We did have a few minor issues with the grill and garbage disposal not working, but overall it was a great stay. Manager Comments: Thanks for letting us know about the grill and garbage disposal. We'll get them checked on right away. Hope to see you again!

Our multi-generational family ski trip to Winter Park was lovely. Our Base Camp condo exceeded our expectations in style, comfort, luxury & location. The owner had left spices, teas, and various kitchen basics to share..how nice! From the 5 year old to the 70 year old, all were delighted to find #480 had something special to offer! Thanks to your great staff who are so ready to accommodate! We appreciate all of you!

We had a group of 9 stay at base camp 480. It was the perfect size. The kitchen was great for cooking and entertaining. The house was well stocked with towels, toiletries and extra blankets and pillows. We will definitely look here again for another stay. Thanks!!

We've stayed at many resorts over the years and we've never received customer service like we did with Winter Park Lodging Company. This is a top class outfit that we would highly recommend to anyone. The townhome was perfect for our party, and spotlessly cleaned throughout. We look forward to returning for more!
