The Winter Park/ Fraser Valley Chamber of Commerce kicks off the summer High Note Concert Series this Thursday, July 2. The concerts are free in Hideaway Park from 6-8pm every Thursday through August 20th. The first concert of the series will feature Quemando, a salsa band. Not only does the 11 piece orchestra play both traditional and contemporary salsa, but they also showcase 2 singers, Kelly Rizo, from Columbia, and Robin Jerre, from Peru. You may have enjoyed their music at the Denver Jazz Fest where they wrapped up the show as the chosen final act. Come back and listen again in Winter Park where we still have some great lodging deals to share with you. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs or a blanket. We love to bring our dinner as well and eat al fresco while we enjoy the music and the kids dance.
