- Hot Coffee and Cookie at the Top of the Zephyr Lift – nothing better
Most skiers and boarders walk right on by the “Coffee Shop” at Sunspot (lodge at top of Zephyr lift) as they hurry into the dining hall. We, on the other hand, never make it to the dining hall as the goods at the Coffee Shop are what we think about as we get one last run before lunch.
We get the cookie of the day (either raisin oatmeal, chocolate chip or our favorite – white chocolate macadamia nut) and a hot coffee or hot chocolate. Total bill: $5.75. Cheaper than a burger and fries and a whole lot better. Plus you can sit a the bar tables and not search for an open seat in the dining hall.
And no worries – they stopped carrying the peanut butter cookie after the scare broke out, so you’re safe with this quick snack. Enjoy!
